Giving Your Social Security Number Online - Have You Tried It Before?

Hello MyLotters! Recently I found a site that, even though I haven't tried it yet, gives me hope to access advertisements for my planned website. As a form of taxation, a tax ID is required during application for advertisements. For the location where I'm from which is the Philippines, I think we don't have that tax ID but I think we have Social Security Numbers. Is it safe to give your Social Security Number online? Thanks a lot!

Well, first of all, Tax ID and SSN is something that somewhat really different. Are you sure you can just enter your SSN instead of Tax ID?
And correct me if I am wrong, but I think every working people should already have their own Tax ID; it doesn't matter from which country someone is..
