Are there any American Idol followers in here this year (2012)? I think it is a pretty good show and I am happy that some of my faves are still competing right now. Who are some of your fave contestants this year? I love that they brought Colton Dixon back, and I like the older guy with the beard and glasses, I think his name's Adam. Then there's the dark skinned Joshua, and the Asian fellow Jun, I think his name is. There is one female singer I think is the best of them all, she has long blonde hair and she tried out 5 years ago but didn't make it then, what is her name again, Hailey? I'm just starting to learn some of their names better, as it just started into the end of the auditions. Who are your all-time fave AI winners or contestants? I have a few, but only started watching it the season that Adam Lambertshould have won over Kris.

Hi Nail Tech! I don't follow American Idol anymore. The last season I watched was when David Cook won! (2008) I love both David Cook and David Archuleta. This season I guess there is a Fil-Am contestant whom everybody here in the Philippines watch out for. I often hear it on the news and I am curious about him or her but I don't really know the timeslot of AI. But I guess I'll check it out

Either one, Cook or Arculeta is fine with me. They are both my favorites! I just recently caught a glance this season on tv and saw some many commotions going on like there's a girl who fainted, one girl was an outcast that no team wanted her... it's like there are so many drama now added to the singing itself

Yes I remember both of those girls, and they never made it up to now. Its a shame cause maybe the girl that fainted might have went on to be in the top 12, you never know. Too much drama in the week of the teams usually anymore. I read somewhere someone suggested they assign the teams next time in order to create less drama, but I think it's good for TV this way.

Hello girl! I'm sure you have your reasons why you don't like to watch it, it has become mainstream and probably other factors. I'm happy that one of your favorites has won it before such as David Cook.

Yes. Here's one. My favorite contestant of all the seasons they've been on air is of course, the wonderful talented, 'Alvin Lambert'. He's great. As of right now, I like a few, but I don't know there names. I like the asian guy with glasses, and I like Phil Phillips from South Carolina, but they are the only ones I've taken note of liking. They have tons of good talent this year, but some of them sound too much alike. Oh, yeah there's the guy who shouted 'Halleluhah' after they told him hewas going through. He has heavenly voice!

Yeah, I like Phil Phillips too. Seems like a really nice guy. He was the only one there when Heejun came out crying happy tears before he himself found out he also made it to top 24.

He strikes me as a nice guy, too. Hopefully next week he will have lots of fans who vote for him to stay.

Well, due to working Swing Shift I have not really been able to follow this yr. yet. I really need to catch up via On Demand and see what some of the Talent is like this season. I know many times if I really like the person who wins, or some of the runner ups, I will often buy one of their CDs when they come out. There has been some Great talent come from there.

I don't have On Demand, I guess that costs extra with the cable tv? I still have a few faves that are on now, I was happy with their decision yesterday to let one of the singers go. For me they weren't as strong of a vocalist than the others.

If the top 24 does not have to be equal number between the guys and the girls, seems to me there would be more guys there. When they picked the last girl, I didn't really remember any of the 3 girls; and I could not even remember all who had been through except maybe 2 or 3 girls. As for the boys, I wish both of the last two would have made it; and seems that some of the guys who didn't make it were actually quite good. No wonder all 4 candidates to be brought back later are all guys.

Hi sishy! I agree, the last two guys should have both made it through, I was shocked when the one that went home did. But there is a twist, so next week someone will brought back and he is one of the choices. Only one of those four guys will be back though, not all of them. I didn't remember any of those other two girls either with the last three, they sometimes put singers in that they never showed during the rest of the rehearsals, and I know for a fact some of those will be going home, it's obvious if you watch the how for more than 2 seasons.

Or rather to see if there are other Indian people who watch it? That sounds better.

You are correct that Adam should have won over Kris, you never hear about him at all and hear more about Adam them him. Its like you hear more about Daughtry then the winner Taylor Hicks because Daughtry is more popular and that type of music is more of the Genre for us now a days. Now this year i liked JOhnny but they sent him home. He would have been a chick magnet for usre and he was from south florida like myself and had it really going for himself. Now this year i do like the Asian guy i also like the guy that they stopped on last night and didnt finish and making us wait for the results tonight. There are a couple girls i could see winning but not sure really i think i have to wait till next week since we can vote next week. Now i do like Carrie Underwood and think she has really been the most amazing AI contennstant so far and really has gone a long way in her carrer.

I think I remember who Johnny was, he was really good and I wasn't at all happy they didn't let him stay. I know the girls would have voted for him like crazy near the end. Yes, Carrie U. was one of the best thats ever been on that show, I didn't see that Season either, if only my family weren't the TV hawgs they were, I could have. Its just recently I've been making it clear to them that they have to share more often, especially since I have had to do more work around here and they don't. Yea, it's so wierd we don't hear about Kris at all, and Adam is the one whose making more money than him. Its crazy the way those things work. Ha! Same thing with Daughtry and I didn't even watch that Season, unfortunately.

Would you believe? I am 67 years old and I LOVE American Idol. I watched it both last night and tonight. I have no favorites yet. I won't until the top 12 or something like that. I really will not have a favorite until the top four. I would not have watched it both nights except that we did not have a shift at work. I work p.t. for a market research company. I work the evening shift. I would not have been home last night or tonight except that we have completed all our projects and are waiting on the new ones. So I got to watch American Idol both nights and sure did enjoy it. I have really grown to like the new judges and the format? Did you see what Stephen did at the end?

I am one of those avid viewers of American Idol 2012. Since I am Asian, you can easily know whom I am going to favor but those kids are really good, Jun and Jessica Sanchez. The top 24 has just been selected so I am not really familiar with their names but all of them have exceptional talent. Even those who were not given a chance to make it to the final selection are quite good. With regards to Adam Lambert taking second place in favor of Chris, I agree with your opinion that Adam should have won. He was already a star even at the start of the competition. Anyway, he has made a name for himself in the music industry.

Hi yahnee! I'm a Jun fan too. And tonight they said that they will bring back one of four of the guys they just sent home, and I hope it's one of my faves (I won't say who they are choosing as I know someone might not have seen tonight's show yet).
