When you invite people to attend to your wedding feast, usually they will sign the names on the guest book. I saw this guest book via the net and it is quite creative. Since every guest will leave his/her fingerprint and all the fingerprints make a beautiful photo. I really like this idea, but I am already married But I will leave this idea for my son

Oh, now this is an odd one. I was watching Platinum Weddings on cabe the other night. One couple had a great idea too. They did a photo shoot of them in sweet and romantic settings and the guest book full of these pages. So the guests can look at these as they go to sign. Lovely.

It is very beautiful. I have never seen it in Shanghai. However, you know in China, the government are always looking for some detailed information for everybody. Once you did something bad to the government or said something political viewpoints different from them, they will easily find you based on the detailed information they got before. So, some of people do mind leaving one's own fingerprint on the guest book.

I think this kind of celebration has nothing to do with our government.

signing on the guests book or on a long red cloth is a common practice here and after signing the guests are presented with gifts as a token of appreciation for their attendance.

Hello you less. Well I don't know if I would apply this for my wedding and I will tell you why. In theory it sounds good, and creative people would enjoy it but keep in mind that often people invited to a wedding are very varied and some will probably either not sign (print) it, either won't like it. An idea we have for our wedding as something innovative is to invite a string quartet, found a pretty good deal for it with a dj and a pair of dancers for about 600 euros.

I don't know. But I would like to give my fingerprint on it since it is nice.

Every one will be busy in all works in wedding functions, so they are not in a position to conduct this type of interesting activities. Even though guests can conduct this type of things. It's a nice thought friend.

It is a good idea and it can apply to not just the wedding guest book but also others like taking it as kind of a craft between kids and parents and even they can sign their name in their fingerprints. Anyway that is great and very sweet for having this special fingerprint tree, a good thing to keep also a good memory to recall.
