Sri Lanka recorded an emphatic win at Hobart to day against Australia and moved to the top of the table in cricket triseries being played in Australia . Captain mahela Jaywardene lead the way in a run chase of demanding target of 281 with Chandimal, Thirimanne, Mathews and Pereira all contributing in a fabulous win. Earlier in the day Australia batting first after winning the toss, put up a good total of 280 at the back of a brilliant 104 from Forest and 72 from captain Clark. David Hussey contributed 40 of just 28 balls. India will be now on tremendous pressure to win the next match against Australia to be played at Sydney cricket ground on Sunday.

Well Today match which Sri Lanka win i give all the credit to Captain Mahela Jaywardene, i look him while he batting that they play the match only for win and win only neither they lose at all... Well he start very well and played the every oz bowler in the merit and also now a day he is opening the team inning which looks he is not at all any pressure at all.. well i say indian opener must see this match and find his weakness and rectify the same for the next match on sunday... Well overall today sri lanka perform like a champion team and in fielding, batting, bowling says every department they perform very well...

Thank you aman. You are right lot of credit has to be given to their captain Mahela Jaywardene not for todays win only but for the turn around in Sri Lankan cricket. it was in the dumps before he took over for this Australian series. He also decided to open himself to give solidity for their batting up front. His field placements are also superb. his shrewdness as a captain is reflected there.

You are right Sunil, Sri Lanka deserve a spot on the top of the table. They look a better side yhan other two. Though they started with a subdued note, they gained in confidence as the tournament progressed. They lost a couple of close matches initially but thanks to their brilliant and experienced skipper Mahela Jaywardene, they bounced back brilliantly. It was a good move by Mahela to move himself to an opening slot along with Dilshan which paid rich dividends. India will be under tremendous pressure now they should keep aside the differences among themselves and bounce back into the tournament.

The last over win from Srilanka was fantastic. They deserved the win. They played as a team as a unit(which indian team is lacking). Youngsters and seniors are taking the task equally.. In this series they are the team with less controversies and a well composed team.. They are playing well and deserves the final

yes after the bad start of tour ,sri lankans balance themselves and now they are one the top of table.and they deserve it also because they perform good play constantly and beat Australia in such a thrilling match.well at that time i thought that there was no chance for SrivLanka to win that match but their bowlers bat well and the as result sri lankans won the match.
