Taylor Swift's new Song- Safe and Sound

Funny how the opposite is true for other people. I've heard some people say they were not particularly fond of Taylor Swift until they heard Safe and Sound! I like Taylor Swift because when I was learning to play the guitar, I played mostly her songs since some of them have easy guitar chords. I love all her songs and I'm especially attached to the more country-sounding like. This song is a fresh sound from Swift, and I suppose artists need to constantly innovate. Surely not everybody will like it, but some will do.

I love Taylor swift!!!! Her voice is so special and I love all her songs. It makes people feel like they can connect to it. And the things, she wrote all the songs in her speak now album. I love the song she sang for huger games. Safe and sound. I have probably replayed that song on YouTube more than a few hundred times. I don't I'll ever get tired of it because whenever I hear that isn't it reminds me of the hunger games movie which I love like mad too...hahaha

I watched the video and I thought it was different as well, but in a good way. It shows a little bit more of a "mature" side of Taylor Swift and the video itself gave me chills. Maybe opinions just vary with people, but I for one love it. :D

Hi angel3yes...I have to agree with you..the song is kind of a "snore". almost sounds like a lullaby that you'd put your baby to sleep by. I don't hate it but if I were a teacher I would give it a C

I've heard the song but I haven't seen the video yet. The song is a lot slower than what she normally does and at first I didn't really like it. But after listening to it a few more times, I found it to be really relaxing and soothing. I'm going to have to go watch the music video now to see what it's like lol.

yeah,It's totally different from her usual style.But I think it's also one of the best song that she made.the music and lyric feels sad, hurt , but strong.It's really nice song.

This song is so nice and touched my heart! Though I am not a huge fans of Taylor Swift, I was so surprised when I first hear this song Safe and Sound. Yes, its totally not like her usual style, but she did great!

I also love Taylor Swift to the core. I have all of her songs that were released in an album. I'm still struggling to find her rare songs. Going back to the topic, Safe and sound was originally sung by Tori Amos if I'm not mistaken. Just check it out for confirmation. I think Taylor does a great job in covering this song. I already saw the music video and it fits the movie hunger Games. You are correct that this is different from her other music videos. I love Taylor's bangs in the music video, it emphasizes her beautiful eyes. I will be very happy seeing this video climb up the chart and be at the top for the next days.
