Consigning clothes again

I went through my closet and found about 25 shirts and jeans that I don't really wear and could get rid of. Since most of them are brand names like Banana Republic, Gap, the Limited, and some other random ones, I decided to consign them at the consignment shop I used to go to. They took 24 out of 25 things (one had a stain on it) and I'm hoping they will sell so I can make some money! I used to consign ALL THE TIME, but I've tried toning it down with shopping lately so that I'm buying less and getting rid of less.... I tend to buy things that are on really great clearance, so I don't actually lose much money when I turn them around and sell them (because I decide I am never going to wear it). Somehow I used to manage to make around $60 a month if not more. Does anyone else consign clothes on here? Or do you consign (pawn) something else for money? How has that been working for you?

I never did someting like you. Usually I use my clothes till it is impossible to wear it :-). But maybe that the one of the differences between man and woman. I usually buy not so much clothes, rather I buy less but quality. After I can wear it for longer time and there is no need for me to get rid of them.

I have never consigned clothes as I do not wear brand names as you do nor do brand names really cater to someone in my size. I have a friend who has a consignment shop and sells ladies clothing. I have thought about doing it thru her if I had something nice. But her store is a fair distance from here and what little I would have that she would want would cost me more in gas so I just donate it.

I have tried consigning my used clothes and I also sell it myself. I have a friend who purchased lots of my used clothes and sell it their place, but the good thing is she pay me in advance. I also sell it to some friends and got good money in it. My clothes doesn't have known brand names most of it are from taiwan for my mom works there before and some from germany from my aunt, i also got gifts of plenty clothes from my boyfriend's cousin and mom.Now I am currently addicted to forever 21 they are just so fabulous clothes, so preppy..

We don't do consigning of clothes in our country unless if you have a friend who owns a thrift store and you'll ask her to include your clothes in her merchandise. Clothes which I no longer wear, I usually donate them to charity or directly give them to the less fortunate. If these are branded, I just give them to some friends who are more than willing to have them.
