Just realized I have missing assignments for my online class :(

A few of my college classes are online and I'm very good about keeping on top of things and checking to see if I have assignments or quizzes. Today as I was looking at the course, I noticed a messages section where I have notification of online assignments that were supposed to be due. Unlike all my other online classes, this professor doesn't put them as announcements on the home page or put the assignments under the appropriate tabs. I've missed out on a lot simply because I couldn't find anything. I don't even know when the papers are due because there's nothing about due dates or even what the paper has to be about. I'm not trying to blame it all on the professor, but really he never broadcasted this information in obvious places where people would see. I feel in the dark about the whole class and now I'm scared it will affect my grade somehow. I just emailed him to find out what's going on and let him know how difficult it is to know anything about the class.

Is this a class that you just started? If you just started it and the professor won't work with you, you could always drop it if you think you are too far behind. The best case scenario would be the professor working with you so you can catch up. This definitely has to be stressful. Is this class 100% online?
