Windows 7 - lovely piece of work. Vista -- very problematic--it required a lot of computer space and was slow and slow.
I am very happy with windows 7 probably microsoft has rectified the defects they noticed in their previous system.
Upgrading to windows 7 is recommended.

see juggaloxx has told you the advantages of windows 7. For a few months I think it was offered free --at the initial stage in usa--now I think it is priced. it is worth installing it.

I think it is better to have windows seven compare with window vista. This is because the latest windows seven have good quality in window security and a defender itself. This is really an amazing that we should proud and happy to have a windows that have good security system.
The graphic of windows seven is quite better compare with window vista. I personally felt that the windows vista is light heavy with its performance wile we are using it compare with windows seven.

I would say you wait a lil bit more and upgrade to windows 8....
and win 7 is lot better than Vista, 7 is more compatible with older apps like those run on XP might have problem running in vista but in windows 7 they will run perfect also windows 7 performance i better than vista...
if u r planning to upgrade go for the 64 bit version

I have one computer with Vista and one with Windows 7 and there's not a lot of difference. Windows 7 allows quite a bit more personalization, but if that doesn't entice you, it probably isn't worth the upgrade. A lot of people hated Vista and I did too at first, but I got used to it and actually prefer the little computer that runs it now.

In the past I refused to have Vista as I had read too many negatives about it, and it was said to have had a few things wrong with it and because of that they had to bring out Windows 7, which I love but I wish they would stop now but they keep on bringing out newer versions, my techy friend is already trialling Windows 8 so I guess change will happen again soon..

i would recommend you to use win 7. i am using win xp until now because it is simpler. it you want to become more stylish use win 7. i used to find vista boring anyway. however, i think Microsoft just releases windows 8. hope you find windows 7 a better operating system.
