If you look at the specifications of a mobile phone, you will see info on CPU. Different phones come with different power of CPU. CPU is always discussed among friends when talking about phones.

I remember talking about a smartphone and the first question he asked me was about CPU of the phone i had. I was not aware of it at that time. I wasn't concerned about CPU. I even did not dig what CPU was all about.

I'm not too bothered about that. All i need is a simply phone that allows simple multi tasking. I don't care about the CPU speed or how fast can it load. Everything needs time and if i'm used to fast, efficiency phones, what happens if i were to lose it one day? I don't want to be over reliant on technology and speed. Things will only get faster in the future, when pace of life is fast, certain things in life has to be slow, only then we get to appreciate the true beauty behind them.

CPU speed is needed if the phone is much used for browsing the net and downloading. If your phone usage is only limited to texting, phone calls and seldom for browsing, cpu is not the factor to consider, right?

as all tech products you should be realy careful about specifications and so even cpu in this way you can understand if the device is for you or not or if it worth the price it is sold or not...

If you are into speed and performance, then it would be wise to consider first the processor, probably with 1 ghz processor or the new dual-core processor, as the phone's response would be satisfactory and not usually lagging as compared to the lower processor.

I've just seen an entry level phone with 1 ghz processor. What do you think of that? I am shocked to find out just now that Nokia E 90 has only 330 mhz processor, if I am not wrong.
