Phenomena For New Traffic Exchanges

It seems that there is a trend for new traffic exchanges to offer cash rewards for surfing and referring. In fact, I have not seen any new traffic exchanges offering only credits for surfing for a while. I think it may be built on the fact that EasyHits4U which is currently top ranked manual traffic exchange was actually one of the first traffic exchanges that offer cash rewards for surfing and referring. The other more subtle cause would be the changing view of traffic exchanges, it's no longer a way to just exchange hits on your own blogs or websites, but also a tool to promote your products. Therefore, monetary incentives should be given to the surfers who make this successful. Yet at the same time, there is also fear that there are surfers who just surf blindly for cash, hence resulting in a unsustainable model. What are your views on this? Do you feel the same way?

I just do not like anything to do with traffic exchange, I do not use any of those programs and I do not plan to use it in future. I think it is true that most probably those people using traffic exchange problem are only interested in cash or increasing traffic to their blogs but nothing else.

I do use traffic exchanges quite frequently to get traffic to my websites, but I do feel as if the quality of returned traffic is not high. You have to think of traffic exchanges the same way you use them. If you are simply surfing for credits to use for views to your site, that is what most people use them for as well. You're not guaranteed that the time you spend surfing will actually be worth it in terms of return. On the issue of compensation, most traffic exchanges do not pay much...maybe 0.20 or 0.30 per 1000 pages surfed. I can only fairly assume that this is because they want to reward people who surf regularly on their sites, but at the same time do not want to risk losing money because others do not buy traffic credits from them and instead only surf for credits. As it stands for now, I will continue to use the few 1:1 exchanges I have found because I feel that they are greatly worth it, but as time goes by, I'm sure that this method of obtaining traffic will become less popular and powerful.
