After 12 years, i am finally pregnant and going on my 5th month. On my first born, I am used to using the traditional cloth diaper and disposable ones. But a friend told me to buy the new and improved cloth diapers. In the Philippines, i have researched brands already and most of them are being sold in the US. On my research, there are different kinds of Cloth diapers like the one made with bamboo cloth, fitted diapers, all in one diapers, etc. Now i want to know what are the best/safest cloth diapers that i can buy for my upcoming baby. can someone help me/ Can they really save me money?

Hi! Congrats on being pregnant! I am Due July 5th. This is my 4th child. I am going to be using cloth diapers for this baby. With that said, I have been doing a ton of research on it because, Ive never done it before. I will share with you what I intend on doing and hopefully it will help you in some way.
I first started out looking at the different types. My favorites are the ALL IN ONES with the inserts and are one size. I have been getting mine online. The only problem I am hearing with the one size, All in ones is that they don't always work on a newborn and may leak around the leg area. So for the first few months, I will use pre-fold diapers and diaper covers.
The cost can be expensive in the beginning, but if you are able to pay for your supplies now, it will save you money in the long right. Since deciding that I will cloth diaper, I have been buying a few every week to build up my supply. Another great thing about the one size cloth diapers, is they will fit your child up to potty training age.
All cloth diapers a safe, it is up to you whether you want the ones with bamboo or cotton etc. Im personally not going to worry about getting the bamboo one. This is your baby and your decision and I hope that whatever you choose to do, you feel good about it!! Congratulations again :)

Oh wow, we are due on the same day! How cool! After 3 girls we are having a boy. Do you know what your having or want to know? The brand of all in ones I am buying are called Sunbaby and I am buying them on ebay. I have tried them out with my youngest daughter and the quality is great, they wash well and don't leak! I hope this helps you!!
