I like Vertigo, and Psycho, also I have a mild fondness for Rear Window, but my new favorite is Marnie I had not watched the film all the way through until recently though I remember a faint memory of my sister telling me about the film, but as I said I never really took the time to watch the whole movie I'm glad I finally watched it because it's quite good I think it was ahead of it's time like a lot of Hitchcock's films, and series were especially considering how long ago these films were made, and how modern the story seems, I mean his films must have been a little shocking in those days because in the 50s and 60s there wasn't many films with the kinds of subject matter that I seen his films still very entertaining today What Alfred Hitchcock film do you enjoy most or would you consider your favorite?

I would have to say Notorious. Cary Grant is my favorite classic actor, and I'm so used to liking his characters. He's normally so charming. But, the character he plays in Notorious is a pretty unlikable man, while still being the good guy. And, I think it's one of his best performances. The movie also has two more of my favorite stars, Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains. The mystery of it doesn't really interest me as much as the characters and interactions. Ingrid Bergman also plays against type. My favorite in terms of suspense is Shadow of a Doubt.

I think I'd have to pick The Birds, but my mom's favorite was always Psycho.
