Why is 3:00am believed to be the Devil's hour?

I have seen the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" years ago and from that movie I have learned that 03:00am is considered as the "Devil's hour" or the "Demon Hour". Currently, there were several occasions that I woke up at exactly 03:00am and feel a cold chill hitting my cheek. I know that ghosts exist and not all of them are negative. In fact, some of them are more than willing to be helpful influences in our lives. But still, I feel goosebumps especially when I woke up and I hear the dogs howling. Have you experienced the same thing? Waking up at 03:am or 12mn? What do you do? Do you simply just go to sleep?

In most horror movies the haunting, killing and most horrific scenes happen when the clock strikes 3 in the morning. I don't know if there's truth to it, I'm not at all superstitious but i leave my lights on when i go to bed. Two of my friends who consider themselves as having the capability of seeing the OTHERS, said that they see a little girl lurking in my kitchen. I got pissed when they told me this at separate occasions. This made me go crazy, that's probably the reason why I usually get sleep disturbances around 3am.

I have stayed awake until 4am or 5 am a lot of times, sometimes even the sun rises. I haven't experienced anything freaky during the times you mentioned. I even went outside. Maybe you'll get goosebumps if the thought crossed your mind. But then, you'll have your own brain to blame. Sometimes, it's just your mind that plays tricks on you.
