What is the best thing to do with my "lower back pain"?

I'm suffering from lower back pain. Maybe, this is because of prolonged sitting in front of my computer. I sit here all day, and sometimes, all night. The pain is radiating from lower back, down to my lower extremities (thighs and legs). My doctor also told me that I have an "early stage of scoliosis". I know, this lifestyle, work style I mean, is contributing to this problem. But I can't stop this, I need to work online and do online business because of my pressing financial needs. I earn money online, but I am afraid, the money earned will soon be spent on medical bills. What do I do now?

i too once suffered from lower back pain from sitting at the computer alot, the best thing to do is time how long your on a computer and take atleast 15 minute breaks and lay down on your back through that break and keep that up and eventually the pains will go away and not build up. i hoped this helped some, keep me informed on how it goes too and if you also need anymore help.

Oh, thank you for that suggestion of yours. Let me try that. Also, what about putting some braces along side my body to support its weight in prolonged sitting? Is it applicable? Where can we get/buy something like that?

try taking vitamin b complex. it might just help. otherwise, check up with a doctor and follow his prescriptions and advices. ^_^ even if he/she tells you to do not sit infront tof the computer for a week haha

I can take vitamins, I can follow instructions of correct posture and proper exercise required to alleviate my suffering, but there's one thing that I think would be hard for me to follow---avoid sitting in front of computer MyLotting!

Hi, I suffer with lower back pain. I have to watch the way I sit, if I slouch, it hurts.I find it feeling better when I lean my back up against the back of a comfortable chair. I've been suffering along time with the pain. It's common where I know many people with back problems. I have a comfortable office chair to sit in when I use the pc. Sometimes I think sitting properly at the computer helps.Try a good chair.

try water therapy. thrice a week have hot sit bath and at night do heat and cold compress at your back. when you work, place a soft pillow at the back of your chair. learn to do, stretching routine for 20 mins just sitting on your chair...waiting to finish your upload picture. avoid smoking, drinking. stay trim.
