Mentally Tired

Greetings to myLotters!
I have to say I'm so weak during the whole week. I feel that myself is suffering from mentally tiredness. I don't know how to describe this but everything that I did, or what am I going to do doesn't interest me at all. I have some assignments which the lead time is so tight, but I procrastinate so much. I used to be very discipline with myself but lately I found that my self discipline is totally not there. I feel like something is missing but I don't know what is it.
Please help. How should I suppose to do to give myelf some motivation?

Maybe you are losing focus. Yes, you should try to figure out how to motivate yourself. Maybe planning some reward to give yourself once you finished all your tasks will work. Try to pamper yourself and give yourself a target of things to do. Then after, if you reach your target, treat yourself for a vacation or a luxury item. I am sure you will be motivated with that. Incentives work pretty well in motivating people. I had problems too before in waking up early. To motivate myself to wake up early, I just picture out myself sitting beside a beautiful college student that I may possibly be doing if I pick myself up from bed and go commuting to work. That is something I look forward too everyday commuting to work. I don't think of the possible workload when I go to work. I think of the possible cute girl I might be seeing while going to work. It is all about thinking in the positive side to motivate yourself. I hope this helps you out.

Maybe what is missing is rest. Maybe you should take some time to rest and relax. That way you will become motivated again. Like you I also procrastinate alot and I know it is not healthy. I need self discipline and motivation so I will be back on track again. I hope you will be motivated soon. Have a great day!

actually,so do I. and these days I felt quite tired both in mentally and physically. What is worse is that I could easily be in a panic that I felt my time is so tight and limited. However, something you should do and learn to accept. Just for you, I strongly advise you to do something new and different and things will change.

something new and different means something you have never done and tried before.For examine, if you never ride a horse or a cow before, now try it. do something challenge and if that does not work, you should take a rest without thinking anything and the best way is to have a deep sleep.

i did exactly the same when i was still in college, procrastinating and missing my deadlines for a school project which i never did during my first 2yrs. it may be different from a work project. i was a working student and was quite good with time management then. but slowly my motivation ran out and i realized that i wasn't happy with what i was doing which was my study. i realized that i lost my interest in it and was having a hard time getting things done. in your case maybe you lost your passion for your job that you find it hard to motivate yourself from getting it done. i think that your motivation should be your passion for the work/job.

Mentally tired and depression is just part of normal behavior, take it easy, do some exercise or play some game like futsal, make yourself in sweat, after a shower bath, rest well... hopefully the next day you will find yourself full of passion again :)

Who are the people who inspire you?Maybe thinking of them will motivate you.This helped me but I don't know f it will work for you.Train yourself to think that you have to do these things for your betterment.

Trying to find out what is 'missing'out of life is really a tough job. People often feel tired,dejected and run down on account of persistent bodily difficulties or even from mental problems that nag from time to time. It is for oneself to realize what exactly is troubling one's person. Knowing the cause and taking creative measures would definitely usher in welcoome results. All the best.Take care.

Hi Lucas,
Take time out with your friends or dear ones. The place may be your favourite place or theatres or farm house, forget everything and enjouy the outing for half day or one day. Then sleep well for another half day, it will make you relax and feel good. Your mind will works freshly and you may come up with very good ideas to tackle your problems. Try out this.
Keep cool, life will keep on changing. our good times are still to come.

ya surely this would had a mental tiredness of the people who doing this purely for money otherwise its just a site dont think about money and do discusion and have a web search surely you can over come the mental tiredness its just my opinion
