What is your best friend like?

My bestfriend is my soulmate, my husband. He brought out the best in me. He is my number one fan. He believed in me more than I believed in myself. He made me a better person, a person I learned to like and respect. More than our love and attraction to each other, its the friendship that I know will last forever. I could just imagine the two of us at 60 years old, sipping coffee and reminiscing our past as lovers and friends, at the balcony of our home.

I would say I have two best friends. One is my boyfriend. He is amazing and wonderful. I can talk to him about anything and share my fears with him. My best friend is like my sister. She has been there for me through everything and I've been there for her. We know we will be there for each other.

Me and my best friend have been best friends for 10 years and we still see each other and communicate with each other. Even though there are month we don't talk in FB or text each other, we still hang out every once in a while. We still talk even once in a few months. But at night she have to left me and return to home. And i can share with her every thing in my life. And i feel very comforteable with her.

when i see your topic, it reminds me to think about whether i have a best friend or not, and the answer is i don't know. i do have several good friends, but i can't choose one of them to be my best one. everyone is special. although we seldom be together, but we always communicate with each other by phone calls or emails.

Hi Dominique.. First time I read your discussion I think almost hard and ask to myself whether I have a best friend or not. I am married and I don't have good social life in my neighborhood. My friends are those work at the same place with me, but I don't think that I have best friend. I have some good friends but I don't think that I have best one. I had best friends when I was at school and college, but after I got married I prefer my husband to be my best friend than others. I can share everything with him and the bad side of me is still kept inside me. I mean if I share the bad side of me to others, I'm afraid that they will tell it to others someday. So I like to share everything with him. My mother is also my best friend. But because I live away from her, I seldom talks with her about my daily life. Hi there dominique25, My best friend is my girlfriend, i share with her everything in my life and i don't want it to be any other way, i did have best friend's before 2 actually but i guess time has passed and that life has changed too much between us so we lead different path's now but i guess we still are very close friends just not the type that we used to anymore.

my best friends are someone i can rely to always. they are all like sisters to me. i am close to their family and they are close to mine. i don't have to pretend when im with them. we may have disagreements now and then but we see it though. we always spend time together and have good times.

well my friends are also same like you describe in your discussion.and i have 3 best friend in my life and they all are with till now.and we did spend time with each other and it is very funny and joyful moment when we are together.and i think a best should know your feeling without your words.they understand and help you every time and nothing want from your side.

When I was in grade school, I had one best friend. We were inseparable and every year we went through great lenght to make sure we'll be in the same class together. Until now, some 40 years later, we still keep in touch and get together whenever we have the rare chance since I've been moving overseas many years ago. However, my life these days are most centralized to my family. My spouse and kids are the ones who matter most to me; so I focus my love, time & energy most for them.

I don't really have a 'best friend' or favourite as such. I have a few close friends, very few, my family and my man. They are all my best friends in a sense. I have a different relationship with each and every one and they all mean the world to me in their own way.
