Julienne's (my daughter) classmate are here working at their project on my laptop since it has photoshop installed. I have no choice but to use my cellphone to work on mylot. Julienne has her own laptop but I don't want to use it because it was too slow and I might take 48years to finish. When I'm not home and there's a wifi connection I also use my cellphone. I don't have Ipod tablet hehe still I can't afford to buy. What other ways your using just to work on mylot or any internet acrivity?

It's good that you can use your cellphone if you want to have access to your mylot account if your not at home. For me , I find the keypad too small for my fingers so I just did my posting at home.Having an Ipod tablet could be an alternative but like you I can not afford it yet.Happy mylotting my friend.

Yes, using an iphone I guess is more convenient than a cellphone because the screen is a bit larger. No problem with the keypad too, not like in a cellphone wherein it's a bit crowded.

I use my iphone a lot when I'm mylotting. When I got to bed at night I still mylot from my phone. I can type fast on it. I barely have to look because I know where the letters are.

hello lyn, I also use my mobile phone, but only to check mylot- I am not comfortable responding using my mobile phone the keyboard is too small and I cannot type that fast. I am sharing my laptop with my daughter, so if she has something to research and she can't borrow her brother's computer- I don't have choice but to give her the laptop and stop my activities. I can't detached my son from their computer once they're playing DOTA they keep saying "it's an online game and they can't leave their co-players"

cellphone also is my way to do mylotting. I think qwerty keypad phones will also help to post easily. However, i am using the general design for keypads. All i need is to type fast as i can

I found that it is easy to broke the cellphone keypad than the computers'. It is not that easy for me to type it even a text message. So no cellphone for surfing or browsing~(^^)

Hi lynboobsy. The only way I have to use to be on mylott is with my notebook. I don't need anything else, because I don't have anyone here to share with. If I am ready to use it anytime, it's free for me to do so. There are some advantages to that and there are sometimes disadvantages to that. I could use the cellphone, but I have never even attempted to do so. I have never even used the internet for anything on my cell phone . I don't even know why I pay for a contract with internet and all that on it.

I have wifi, but I have never used it. I have had no need for it so far. I thought I might go up to the library and use it one time when I first got it, but after I got there, I couldn't get on the internet and didn't know how. When I asked others who were there with their laptops I asked if they could help me, but no one knew what the problem was, so as of today I have not used wifi. I may go to McDonald's one day and see if I can figure out how to do it.

Hi Lyn!! I prefer to use my laptop when I am browsing and do other internet's activities. I don't have smart phone or tablet Ipad etc- I just have my one and only laptop so I am using it when I need to browse websites. Honestly I don't like to browse websites using phones as it a little tedious for me and the little screen is not enough foe me to see~(^^)

Mostly via PC or Laptop, and rarely via cellphone. I am using internet on my cell phone only if there's something urgent to do or if I get super bored, lol. No internet connection? Well, I still have plenty things to do even without internet connection xD.

LOL. I used to use my cell phone occasionally to come on MyLot, but it took way to long to get discussions pulled up and I kept typing things wrong on my QWERTY keyboard, so I just gave up on that. I use my desktop or laptop computer. But I do sometimes check my earnings on my cell phone, or other simple stuff like that. I guess you are stuck with using your phone until your kids' classmate leaves, then, eh?

@jinjunhua, Welcome to mylot! It's okay if your english is not perfect. You actually came to the right place. But with time, you'll improve your english, so keep at it. And add more friends and interests. It'd be more fun that way.

Hello lynboobsy! Just this day i learned that mylot can be done thru cellphone. But i personally dont like. Whenever i like mylotting i feel comfortable using pc and besides i prefer using simple features cellphones that can have easy texting and calling with a flashlight. I bought a plan from a well known telecom company and i chose a screen touch type cellphone, its nice and attractive but i gave it coz i need fast operation on sending messages , fast and easy browsing from phone book and fast and easy calling with just one hand. Most especially am not afraid if i drop it or put it in any corner of my bad and pocket. Happy mylotting.

probably using the computer is easier and you can post a lot of comments in just an hour by using the computer unlike on the phone which pressing of keypad is hard especially you want to post a long one.

I use my iphone to mylot quite often. When I got to bed at night I use my iphone. I'm on my mini laptop right now while at the doctor's office. I'm waiting on my daughter. She has to be here 3 hours so I am using my laptop to do my mylotting. My daughter is having a glucose tolerance test.. it takes 3 hours.

I'm one of ancient member here; I don't have a smart phone. So I access myLot from my desktop which takes like 30 minutes to load up when I start it up. Once in a while, my sons would let me use their laptop; but it's very rare because they seem to be glued to it all the time.

Yes, but you also need to have a wifi signal somewhere nearby so you can connect. Not all places has them. So gprs is also a useful feature.

I haven't tried to do discussions or responses using my phone. I am using a touchscreen phone that I am still trying to get the hang of and I sometimes have trouble even with just texting. It was only yesterday that I finally figured out how the answer button works. This just plainly shows that I am not addicted to my phone like so many people I know. It reminded me of my trip to Batad, Ifugao last week. There was no cell phone signal so all we could really do was trek across the rice fields. The place we stayed didn't have TV too and what we did to have music was play it from our iPods. My two companions were disturbed and fidgety when they saw that their phones weren't working, but I wasn't. I can live without the modern technology offered by our world today.

Never thought to use my smartphone to access mylot, I will have to give it a try to see how it works. I do use my iPad when I think about it. I just don't have a lot of time with two kids (two part time jobs = one full time job) and all their activities but will have to take a look at it. Thanks for the suggestion.

hi lynboobsy I bet I am the only mylotter who has no cellphone or I pod or laptop, all I have is my trusty desktop computer but it works great and I get a lot of participation with it too.,That is how I do my mylotting..I am in the lead here so must be doing something right.

I have tried to use my cellphone before but it didn't work out for me. It took forever to load and I never could see the whole screen. My responses looked awful..lol. My phone really isn't made for a lot of internet use..maybe just the occasional search or visit. I have a laptop that I don't share. I am selfish with it but the family has the desktop and my daughter has an ipod touch. Those little devils are just like a computer. If I can't use my laptop...I don't get to myLot. That is rare though because I am so selfish with it.

I am now considering buying Nokia Asha 300. It's cheap but it has 1,000 Mhz processor. This is cool and very fast to connect to internet. Nokia E90 has only 330 Mhz. I can't wait to buy it. At least that's the one I can afford. Iphones or other android phones are still beyond my wallet at the moment unless my house sells well. Lol.

That's right but the cpu is lower than nokia asha 300. But I know c7 is great. How much did you pay for it? I use cellphone when I am on the go like traveling by bus or waiting in a queue, etc, etc.
