If you were to asked how do you measure SUCCESS then what would be your answer in your own words? Do you think it has something to do with the amount of money that you have or being a rich person in order for you to be called a SUCCESSFUL person? Do you think a person can be successful in any other ways if not in career or any kind of business? Do you also think that successful people are always happy?

I believe that a person's success depends on what each individual's idea of success is. One person's idea of success may not be another person's. Success doesn't have to necessarily mean an abundance of money or wealth. It can simply mean a healthy love life, or even spiritual growth. Success comes in various forms, and some find success with things that does not involve financial value.

I just actually realize that SUCCESS does not have to with money at all. In my own reflection it can be also measure in many other ways. I just said it to myself that if I am not successful in my career right now then at least I have good relationship with my boyfriend or I have good status in lovelife.

A person that has money can also be succesful, whereas a person that has no money can not be succesful. Succes is connected to money, but is not influenced only by money. I mean, if you have won the lottery you can not say that you are a succesful person. In essence you do not deserve taht money more than any other person that played the lottery for that day. If you have a succesful business, you own an International Company, then you probably have a little bit of money. So I guess the amount of money you have is influenced and influences at the same time how successful of a person are you.

Well I think it is a matter on how they were able to handle the money or they still have budget wise that is why they became successful.

I think that success means something different to each person, and we should make sure that we concentrate on reaching our own aims in life. If we aim to have a family and then just get rich without ever having a family, then I would not class this as being successful at all. However I think that we need to be careful to be able to get the balance right between work and family, as there are too many people now who will spend all of their time working and not spending time with their children and partner which just can't be right at all.

Having a balance in life is still important like family, career or even lovelife. Because a person maybe successful in career but suffers in relationship within the family. If that is the case then that is another kind of problem. It is also important to spend time for the children and partner because good communication, relationship or bonding can still lead for understanding for each other.

success depends on a person and how he define it. some define success with happiness, while others measure it with the money they have. but for me, success comes when you have accomplish what you truly desire and that will make you happy, satisfied and contented. its more of what quality you have, rather than the quantity you have.

That is another good point of view. People must understand the fact that it is a matter of the quality that you have rather than quantity. I mean you have beautiful things around you like houses, signature materials and all but then your spouse tends to shout and say foul languages at you to the extent that he is degrading you as a person just to make you less then how would you consider yourself as a successful person? Then I don't think that person considers to that category.

Well this depends in which way your talking. A Person saying that he has Happy wife and loveling children sayes that i'm successfull. Another person sayes that He has a good business running and he has achived all of his life goles which he had in his mind. So this Depends. For me Success means that I have both things. Happy family and good running business.

Successful people are not always happy, especially if they change their success with their life. In physiology there is one theory called "the substitution of the purpose" which tells that sometimes the means substitutes the aim. For instance if you want to be successful in your life (aim) trough your job (means), you cleaver boy start working as a donkey while you brain, at a certain point feels the need to work and not anymore to be successful (which probably you are already because your work a lot and in average you work gets the results). In this way yes you'll be successful by on the other plate of the balance you life will be the counterpart (heavy). The result is that outside, for other people, you'll be successful but in reality you'll be an a half man with no reason except the one to work. Lucky one;) Real success is get from your life the best keeping you equilibrium and using only what you have. That's my opinion.

That is great point of view and thanks for sharing us your knowledge. Well that is true you are successful in some other kind but then there are things that are still suffering. For example you are successful person in career but then your health suffers.
