If you were to ask how do you handle stress that what would be your answer?
Because in my case I just answered it in simple like drinking tea, coffee or energy drink. At first I just really thought that I have to be articulate for me to answer this simple question.
But of course this is important question as well whenever the interviewer of the company ask you this so that they will know if you are capable enough to handle stress.

That is great idea that you are going to hang out with your friends and play computer games including listening to the music. That is really true that we need to relax.

when i feel so tired and and becoming stressed, what i do is eat and sleep and eat then sleep more. I make sure i do both on time and enough to regain my strength. I used to drink before, anyday but i learned and more careful this time.

its a timely question because i am stressed for the past two weeks and i think February is not a good month for me. anyway, i handle stress through praying and talking to God and i am very lucky to have a son who relieves all the stress and worries i have. but of course when i am back at work it will come back. so i keep on praying for more strength and guidance to do what is right.

That is good idea that you are praying in order for you to release the stress even the pain if any. Being spiritual is still important so that God will guide us in all our actions and thoughts especially in good decisions in life as well.

I just go out to handle stress and make me happy. Sometimes, I just play with my nephew, 2 years old. And yes, she can make me smile

I also like playing with my 1 year old nephew that will turn 2 on April. It is really funny to play with them. Just because of the face value for being CUTE it was like you are playing with a doll that is alive.

i usually eat something sweet like icecream because aside from it hypes my energy i feel that the cold icecream calms my nerves. sounds contradicting with hyping my energy but i'm not sure why i feel that way. :)

That is good that ice cream will make you relax. Because in my case I don't think that kind of sweet will be good to my health.

That is good way of handling stress. My question there is what if you need to do a work overnight or being without sleep how would you do the exercise if you feel sleepy?

When I am stressed I will get out of the house and go for walk because exercise releases endorphins into the brain and means that we are less stressed than we were before because our cortisol levels will have dropped as well. Other people do things like yoga which I think work well as well. You should also think about why you're stressed, as there might be something that you could do to address the source of the stress which would be much better in the long term for you than it is to just cope with the short term stress.

That is great idea and thanks for that information. Maybe I should do that as well instead of drinking something which will cause me bad effects. And yes there are things that will cause you stress. If not in the work then sometimes your family who tends to nag you.

What I try to do is firstly, take a big breath, and not allow myself to get freaked out. If it's a huge project at work with a really abrupt deadline, what I like to do is break up the project into pieces - designate some parts to others I am working with if I am able, and do things step by step and one at a time instead of freaking out over the big picture. I did this with school too, studying for exams, writing papers, and it has seemed to work for me - I've gotten the work done and not managed to stress myself into a coma. . Luckily for the most part I don't really have to deal with situations like this at work and I'm not in school anymore.

That is right you don't really need to freak out. Sometimes you will feel that way but that is just normal. But then if you do that always then it would only mean that you can't also handle the other complicated situations or the task. That is a good practice for now on how to handle the stress.

Depends on the amount of stress that I have really. There are just times where I just need to sit down. Where I need to take a nice and deep breath. Just take the breath all in and just let myself simmer down. Then I can really just step forward and do what really needs to be done. Do what I can to deal with the stress of my life. No one says it is easy but there are times where everything needs to be tackled bit by bit and one step at a time.
That to me is the key of it all. Handling everything one step at a time really does cut down on stress. Many people really do take on a lot at once and they feel stressful because of it. However, by just doing one thing and then another, I can get things done and reduce the stress level that I would normally have. Barring that I tend to take a nice and long walk outside, if I am able to. There is just something about the fresh air that calms my nerves and eases my stress level.

I would first recommend music and it really makes me feel relaxed and also a cup of tea makes you awake and feel relaxing in the morning.Someone just travel to somewhere she really wants and being far away from busy life,it's really free.Try to make yourself calm down, that's really depend on you.Have a nice day.

That is good idea of course that we must calm down and for us to reflect. This is to avoid stress or relieve as well.

Caffeine makes me feel more stressed, so I probably wouldn't try to handle stress with coffee - but seems like a good answer to the interviewer. It usually helps if I go for a walk, run, listen to nice music, restart a hobby that I already forgot or start a new one. None of these would sound perfect on an interview I guess, maybe I would add deep breathing...

In my case I can't drink a coffee already just because of having heartburn. Well too bad for me because I really like drinking coffee especially from starbucks. Because sometimes it makes me feel relaxing and can relieve the stress.

sometimes if i have a stress, i just do my regular activities/routine as if i feel ok. by doing this, i am feeling well because i think if we treat serious problems seriously ,LOL, we will be going crazy. in addition, praying so that my problems will be resolve soon is also one of my way to handle stress. eating is also one. :)

Praying is really a good way in order for us to handle the stress. Praying is really powerful in order for us to be guided in the right path and we can also feel the miracle blessings if that is the case.

Breath, think, wait and focus on one task a time!
That's the theory, for sure it is difficult to apply, especially the last point in a work context where you have tons of task to complete.
What I do in real life is to stand the stress till I can, afterward I take I rest for a while and back again. The fastest way to fail anyhow :)

That is good. I believe stretching must be also included so that it will also help our flexibility.

The way I deal with stress is that I either paint, draw or work on some kind of craft project. Working on a project helps me relax. I am hoping that later on this week I can go to my local craft store and pick up a latch hook kit. I have never tried drinking tea when I am stressed out and will have to try that out.

Stress is always there everyday and sometimes it is too hard to handle.
One of the ways that I do to relieve from stress especially at work is to eat food,my fave foods.Instead of being problematic about it,I just waste my time by eating fave foods and hang out with friends.

That is the reason why others are saying that if you are stress it will make you fat. But it depends. That is just case to case basis and depends on a person's in handling it.

I can not handle stress.
Stress handles me.
Seriously now, not being able to control stress has got me partially bald at an age that I should have a hair like AfroJack.
I don't know how tea and energy drinks hve the same effect on you, but if it helps then I have no comment.

Of course I am not drinking that at the same time. What I mean is that is my options in order for me to handle my own stress. At times the cup of tea will help me to feel relax. Then the energy drink will keep me awake.

That is also great idea especially the meditation. Sometimes I am doing that like chatting with other people especially online in order for me to release the stress that I am feeling.
