i am a God believer, i believe in him and all His creation but i have doubts if we talk about destiny. many believe that we all have our own destiny that is written in our own book of life..
is there anyone could help me with my doubts?? are we the one choosing our own destiny or we do not have choice because its already written?

joesa_lang..I think many have puzzeled over this question. I was taught we have free will and make our own decisions, but God already knows what decisions we will make...He already konws the future. It seems to me this is sort of like destiny, but then if we make the decisions it isn't...

There are all sorts of possible answers to this since everyone believes in something different.
For me, I believe it's a little of both "destiny" or God's control, if you will, and free will. I believe that there are certain things that people are intended to do that will necessarily come to be, but that for other things our own free will can effect our destiny. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else lol. Guess it's kind of hard to explain. But I think that there are some destinies that can be affected by free will as to whether they come to pass or not and then there are some destinies that are definite and must come to be.
However, no one can really answer this question for you as no one really knows for sure either way. It's one of those things where you have to come up with what you believe in on your own since no one really knows who's got the "right" answer.

For me, destiny is the product of our choice. Yes I believe with free will and God's individual plan to our life but in our life we have always had a choice and God gave us brain to think and decide what is good to ourselves but of course we should always consult God of our plans and decision in life. That is to ask his guidance.

This is how I understand it. We all have free will as what God gave us out of His Love for us. That means we are free to decide whatever we want to do and God lets it happen. But people seem to be forgetting that God is Omniscient and Omnipotent, which means He is All-knowing, and All-powerful. I'm not sure if knowing the future falls under Omniscience or Omnipotence but God is both so that means He knows what will happen to us in the future.

At some point I believe in destiny when there are things that are really meant for us. But then of course we are still choosing our own destiny and that is the time that God will help us in other destinations.

I do believe that and god help us arrange all,but we still need to try our best to achieve our goal and change that. But if i do miss my lover,it's maybe not the right time, anyway,at the mean time, just give yourself more pressure and confident ,you would be better.

Although I was raised to be religious, no one controls our future but us. Everyone chooses their path...its called free will...remember no one can mess with that in the long run scheme of things...not even God if there is one.
