stolen cell phone

Well, i am miffed but you know what? YOU ARE WELCOME TO MY CELL PHONE, if it makes you happy that you stole it from me, KEEP IT, Yesterday i was out having lunch with a friend, my fault for leaving it on the counter after i paid, clearly it wasn't one of the staff who took it i know the lady who runs the cafe' and she is honest as a days long, but it was some loud obnoxious drunken idiot behind me in the queue, i put it down on the counter to pay the lady, forgot all about it, got home, no phone, all my work numbers and important contacts are in that phone, the thing is i am amusing myself visualizing all the calls that this moron is going to get and they are not even for him...LOL..so yeah, YOUR WELCOME TO IT, i KNOW it was him coz he was the only one behind me in the queue, i rang the lady from home and asked her if there was a black touch phone left behind, she said no, so i KNOW it was this guy, now i have to go out and get another one, tomorrow i will have that phone blocked so he cannot use it, the company will block it, so he is thinking "yeah, i got me a nice phone" but he will not be able to use it, IN YOUR FACE MORON, has anyone ever had their phone stolen and enjoyed knowing that they cannot use it?

That's so sad to hear that. But have you tried contacting your own number and let the one who found it know that it was yours and you wanted it back? You have the best solution call your mobile company and have it blocked. This has never happened to me I was lucky enough that I am not that forgetful but there are times I forgot things that's why I always have this pouches with me that's where I put my gadgets ipod, cellphone and all hahaha that's why some of my friends wonder what are those.I use them to get organized too .I hope you can buy a new one :)

I have never lost a really expensive cellphone before or had it stolen. I have an Iphone now, it lets you activate a tracking service. You can then go and find it on a map on the net. Did you know that you can even get insurance for your cellphone? It´s only a few bucks but goes a long way.

yep had one stolen from me at school it was funny and have you ever though that maybe it wasn't the drunk? you gotta think these things through my friend cause sometimes it wasnt who you think it was maybe this "DRUNK MORON" was too drunk to even notice your phone and didnt grab it and after you lef maybe a new customer came in and saw it and grabbed it, and by the way after you turn it off they can use it all they have to do is just go get it activated but what you can do to get tha exact same phone back free of charge is report it stolen they will suspend the account(so no charges will still be added) and just play the waiting game patiently and if this moron tries to activate it, it will be flagged as stolen and he will be caught on the spot. and i technically wouldn't say it was stolen if you just accidentally left it on te counter that is not even close to being stoled its what he probably calls lost and found so you just lost your phone because you misplaced it and forgot about it, and stealing involves the person getting into your stuff and going throuh it to find something now thats called stealing. just thought i'd correct you there so you dont make this random drunk sound like an a-hole lol.

Sorry so long in responding, trinkabelle! I personally, have not, ever lost my cell-phone...but as my son says; "I am over-cautious of my possessions!" I do have a snicker tho'..when he reports to me, his phone is missing again! I do feel badly for you, as you younger folks carry so much more information in your phone..photos, etc, so it is like losing a part of you! I have a little pouch attached to my purse, by an expandable cord..the phone is always in there...ALWAYS, never on a table top..coffee table...or casually laid down, somewhere! Hopefully, dearheart...after suffering your loss, a sad lesson...your new one will be a bit more protected..it will mean changing your habits, too! Good luck, dear friend!

My daughter also had her phone stolen and we ended up buying one. She was so sad because she had a lot of stored photos with her friend on that phone. And yes, the contacts that's giving her problem to retrieve from friends, teachers and companies as well.

sorry to hear that, I have lost my phone too, when I was waiting a bus.and there the bus came, the crowd push themselves into the door, there was a guy behind me push me hard and get into the door and guess what ,he walked away and didn't get into the bus ,I saw this and can't help thinking what a boring guy he is. but when I got on the bus and want to take my phone to see the time.I check all the pocket and can't find it,it must be the guy stoling it. what I could do was got another phone card as soon as can ,so my friends could touch me even when I lost their numbers.and buy another phone.

Nope, I do not have anything anyone would even want to steal. I hope a new phone is not too expensive for you. I hope he feels like a real fool. He may try to pawn it to buy more to drink, though.

the company should replace it for me, failing that i will buy the cheapest most nastiest looking thing ever to be seen on the shelves, as long as it's useful i will get the cheapest, it will be blocked tomorrow so this guy won't be able to use it, if he tries to pawn it, the pawn shop won't take a blocked phone, so he has stolen something he isn't able to use...what a fool..LOL..

I personally had not experienced having my cell phone stolen but a lot of my friends had, some even at knifepoint. It's a good thing that the manner in which your phone was stolen wasn't life-threatening. In my country, people get killed for resisting to give their cellphones to snatchers and robbers. I know it's a big loss but at least you weren't put in danger or something.

yes i am lucky that it wasn't anything more than just someone taking it, this guy was an opportunist and just took it, but i did leave it on the counter so i am to blame too, but at the end of the day, it won't work so he's got a phone that's useless...LOL..

It's a good thing you caught the b@stard. I lost a phone once. It was when I was going back to my hometown. I was in a bus. I was feeling drowsy so I took a quick nap with my traveling bag on my lap. When I woke up, the seat beside me was still empty (same as before) but my phone was already missing. I was not that frustrated since I was having trouble with it and was already planning to replace it. I could have chased him and hand the charger as well.

i saw him before i left but i didn't catch him, he was the only person behind me and the only person in the cafe apart from the owner and my friend, i am sorry that yours got robbed, i hate people who do this, it's one thing losing it, but have it taken from your bag is another thing

I'm so sorry to hear that your phone was stolen. I had been a victim of things or stuff that was stolen. If I do remember, my phone was stolen thrice and just this year, My current phone was about to be stolen but good thing that I was able to notice that someone is opening my bag. Gosh! I do only have the power to kill those thief. I had killed them. If a thing is stolen from me, then I'll just think of it as a way of changing new stuff.

wow 3 times, that's bad, you know what? i will be honest, i am annoyed that some idiot stolen it but it was my fault for leaving it on the counter, BUT i am laughing at the thought that this guy cannot use it, , and he will not be able to sell it unless he has it chipped, so his loss really,

I experienced having my cellphone stolen right inside the office and on top of my manager's table. It got lost in just a few minutes when I had to answer a call from a land line. Since the phone got lost on top of my boss table, he took it upon himself to start the search by asking the chief security to search all the staff's tables drawers, cabinets and the like. All of us had cell phones and mine was not something that can be considered as expensive or eye-catching. We never knew that someone among us was a kleptomaniac. He was sorry for not being able to control himself. I got my cellphone back but my office mate had to resign from the job and seek medical treatment for his problem. We have remained friends though since I knew he was not a thief. The temptation was just too much for him.

well at least you were forgiving enough and remained friends, pity he had to resign, i hope the temptation does not get the better of him next time and i hope he sought the help he needed
