Hi MommyJasmine! Ive read somewhere that soulmates isnt always confined to a husband-wife relationship. They can be a member of your family or even your best friend.
Which brings me to another curiousity... what if im a muslim but then my boyfriend- soulmate happens to be a christian? uh oh...

Hello Graceekwenx! You have an extremely good point there. I myself have thought of these things before, because I am Christian but was taught to believe that if I end up with a person who is non Christian that would make us "unevenly yolked." I'm kind of in the same boat with you! Yikes.....

A soul mate feels the same, the twin soul is the same. So if they meet they recognize. There is no specific design for it and also it's not always the opposite gender.

It honestly depends on what you believe in. My belief is that a soul mate is someone you're not afraid to be yourself around and someone who wouldn't let you be anyone other than yourself. You can either be perfectly similar with one another or polar opposites; what matters is that you guys are good together and that you don't hinder the other from the things he/she wants to do with their life.
Like in my case, my soul mate is like the male version of me. He's someone who does the same things that I do and says the same things I say at the same time. We work well together and we don't hinder each other from our work, rather we improve one another's work when we're working together. He's someone who understands what I'm going through without me even saying a word.
For your second question, it's also dependent on what you believe in. If you believe in Fate, and you put your faith in it, then yes, there is a design for two specific souls that make them destined to be together for the rest of their natural and supernatural lives. Or maybe there's a specific genetic configuration that just makes them destined to be with that one person, so much so that anyone else just won't do for them.
Hope my answers helped. :)

soul mate, it sounds like you found your mate.
I can say that the man who was beside me and have children is my other half.
because you seemed to rediscover part of yourself.
soulmate is that soul which they understand and you understand her a glance with a gesture.
I hope you find your soulmate and feel this wonderful feeling that begins to fill your whole body.
nice day!

Yes of course, that they are very VERY hard to find is a complete different story.
The thing is most people, couples, are always saying the other is the love of their life and that they couldn't live without him/her, that's not having a soul mate.
I think it's not about love, you could probably have a soul mate from the same gender as you...

Others think when they have the same likes and dislikes, they are soulmates. When they meet become close to each other and after a while lost each other then meet again in some instances then developed a relationship, they call it soulmates. When they are compatible with each other and enjoy everything they do, they feel they are soulmates. Those who experiences hindrances in their relationship but at the end they are for each other also believed they are soulmates.
