You have many great articles there, so I like to spread them to my friends. We all need something positive to think about in these days.. Yes, it does seem that they are somehow giving us a hand so that our articles are read by more people, at leas during the first day. I am only there for brief moments to check to see what is happening with my articles. Sometimes i forget to log out and it may seem that I'm there a lot. Thanks for sending out my articles!

Well, they had some maintenance not long ago, who knows if they planned this change for the better that time? Anyway, even if the big number of views is only during the first day, it probably will encourage people to publish more often and keep the long term income going too.. It is great that we can republish already written articles there..saves a lot of time! Happy writing..

Hi Buenavida, I hope that it is not just a one-off thing. I published something this morning, and the page views did not occur. i think they have made some changes, and taken away the marketing feature or forgotten to switch it on after the updating. Hopefully the marketing feature to increase page views for all new articles is a permanent one.

No, I am not. I started a day job last year and haven't had much time for anything outside of Helium -- and I barely get around to that.

I have written in Triond before and using the same articles in EC with some small changes. I have the same username in both sites and I also place a link to the EC article in the comments in Triond, so that it is easy to see that it is my own article.

Yes, that is the basic criterion for that - you should have the same display name. You can have any username and password. But the name that gets displayed as the author should match. I guess, you write back to them and hope they consider.

I joined in December, last year so I have not so much experience yet, but this seems to be some new thing they do - at least I have not seen it happen before.. I have not yet cashed out, but if it continues in this way, I might be able to do so in some time.

That is pretty good. I have earn only 1.54 but I will be adding more articles, as this is so encouraging.

Yup, I discussed the improvement on the post you mentioned, so I thought I would tell my experience in a new post. I hope it continues, but it seems that we get a lot of hits the first day only. That would of course encourage us to write more!

Yes, it is encouraging indeed, but now I don´t get that much views, but it is still OK. Maybe they wanted to help us a bit and make us write more.. I am a bit surprised, as I write many Bible articles, that there is a great interest in this kind of articles! It seems people need to read something that gives them hope and guidance for life!

I have only Triond articles in EC for now, but we will see if I continue writing in Triond. Perhaps no harm if I do, as long as the site keeps clean. The articles will be read a bit more if I have them in both sites.. Wish you happy writing in both sites!

Hi, neonmay No harm in looking at the site and you can always read some articles and see what people write about. I am getting hits all the time, but not as much as when I started this discussion. But it is OK, I am earning a little, and will probably keep earning from the same articles. I also send my articles to Twitter and Facebook and get some visitors and readers that way. I have many friends with the same interests as I have, the Bible, and they read my articles sometimes. In that way I can encourage people with the wonderful hope of the future we find in this book and it makes my feel good too.

Hi, sourabharoy Writing in English is a big challenge for us who have another language from birth.. But we can train and learn and you are on the right place now - I have learned a lot from taking part in discussions in myLot as I can follow skilled writers here and also in other sites. I still make mistakes, but also native English speakers make mistakes now and then, as it is a very difficult language. I have found that reading a lot and listening to the foreign language is good help. If we read and listen to what interests us, we will learn easier. I am interested in the Bible, as it gives a wonderful hope for the future and helps us to cope with the problems of today. I like to go to watchtower.org where they have articles in over 400 languages, including English. I can read an article in my own language and then read it in English and whatever language I am trying to learn. Some of the articles are about how to come over different problems, some talk about the wonders of the nature that we see around us and so on. If I want to listen, I can go to jw.org and download the Bible and literature and even dramas - some literature is in pdf format and there is something also in simplified English. It is so great to learn a language and get some practical advice for life at the same timw. If you have a Gmail account, you can subscribe to the magazines in the languages you prefer and listen to them in "reader" when you want to. I hope this will help you too, like it has helped me, to improve your writing skills and listen to some positive things at the same time. Happy reading and listening..
