When reading ,i met with a sentence saying "Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy". I think it's quite right.Anybody can be a father if he wants to have a child, but being a good father or being called daddy isn't so easy.Being a daddy means bearing the burden of feeding, educating his child. And educating is very important in raising a child. In the course of a child's growing up ,he may meet many problems which call for his father's help .If the father isn't responsible the child may not grow well.

I agree that being a "daddy" is much more to being just a father to a child. The father needs to be very responsible for his child's every need. A father is just as important for a child as is a mother. The father is a very important role model for the child and needs to act like a very caring and responsible person who takes care of all his child's needs in the best way that he can...

Yeah, each parent plays an important role in educating their children.Only one of the both can't do .What's worse, it will do harm to their children. Not only do parent teach their children to learn something but also teach them some good qualities in character.

Indeed parents are the greatest persons in the world. They love their children without any conditions.Their children can complain them but they can never complain their children. No matter how old their children are ,they look at them as their little children,They will do whatever tey can do to protect their children no matter how old they are.

archiaiwy: -- It is said that we do not have any control in selecting our parents--similarly one cannot choose his son or daughter. It comes of its own.
accepting the given child as it is and trying to make that child perform better is good. For that the parents should show more interest in the welfare of the child and spend at least one hour every day with that playing ball, hide and seek and all that initially and thereafter guide the child properly.

Yes, Anyone can be a father but to be a daddy is such a great responsibility. I have no right to utter this kind of words but I feel that my father failed as a father to me. I feel that I was ignored, He took the side of my other brother instead of me.

I agree with you ,but i think some thing is more important than feeding and educating the child. It is the respect of your child's choice and hobby. During the period of a child's growing up , he may meet many problems as you say above. Before we come up with our ideas ,we should believe the child has his ability to solve the problem. What we should do is make him become a independent person. Only in this way ,can we become a qualified daddy.
