Is frequent kissing really healthy?

I've been hearing this for quite a lot from my friends in a relationship. They say something about kissing being a healthy routine for couples all over the world. Is this true? In what way is it healthy? Healthy because it makes the relationship stronger? Or is there something else I don't know about it? I'm currently in a relationship and, well, my partner is a bit pushy on this thing.

what type of kissing you mean? because there are kinds of kisses. there can be unhealthy kissing when there can be contact with herpes. when two people kiss, they exchanged between 10 million and 1 billion bacteria. On the other hand kissing burns 6.4 calories a minute. So cmpare to 1 hershey kiss which has 26 calories, by kisiing you just gonna burn out the calories in 4 mins.

I'm not really sure but I have heard this as well. It's definitely great for your relationship, but I don't know in what way it improves your health.
