I tend to wait until I see things that have been cheaper in the shops like when they have things buy one get one free.I also like to get a lot for my money, so I tend to buy what ever item I want in the shops own brand, as they are usually cheaper.I try to eat all the food that I have in my freezer, as well as else where, before I get any more frozen food, other wise the food at the bottom gets wasted.
