Facebook's Timeline

I have seen many of my friends have changed there facebook to timeline. At first, I just wanted to try and see it in my own profile, but then, I wanted to change it back the way it is, but then I don't know how to. It makes me feel like the whole thing was all messed up by having these timeline. I don't know where to start to look...

I hate timeline, i will never change my old profile

My God my pofile now has a timeline and I really hated it. Right now I rarely visited my profile because I just don't like how it goes.

I just switched mine about an hour ago. I was really reluctant to change it at first but its starting to grow on me. There are some very interesting features that are better than the traditional wall. Like the ability to add life events and they show up on your timeline is pretty neat. Personally I really like that now I don't have to keep pressing load older posts and can just go straight to the year I want to look at. But to each his own.

i am not yet using timeline but if fb will make it the default lay out, then i'll get used to it when it comes. it looks like a little similar to the old friendster lay out anyway. it won't be that big a change.

Welcome to mylot Though I have face book account, i visit there rarely,so no idea about about this time-line you are talking of. I have huge number of friends. I visit only when there is a new friend request, i just accept it. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

I know that there are loads of people that also have it, but wish that they had kept the normal face book.I will be just keep mine as it is, until we are all made to use timeline, but I hardly go on it any way.

I never liked it. I thought it's cheap and it's so confusing. It's like being created by a noob. I love the simple one, it's more organized and less time consuming. I hope they won't make it compulsory to everybody because I'll never gonna be happy with it.

Some of my friends do switched to timeline now.Me,have no plan yet to switch cause I find it too slow in loading post or preview post that you wanted to see.It is quite complicated and slow,I do hope that they enhance it more for better use.

Hi imfr33. I've recently switched my profile to timeline and needs some getting used to it. I find the new interface very messy and confusing. Seems like everything is thrown here and there. I decided to switch to Timeline because of what I've read that it's only a matter of time before each and every user of Facebook is forced to use the new interface. This is to give way to the new developments of apps. Many of the new apps wouldn't be compatible with the old layout. Soon the old profile we've all been used to would become obsolete. Since that's the case, I might as well opt for Timeline early to get familiarized with the interface.

I recently changed to timeline, and sure there are some things i dislike about it, but for the most part i like it, i like how u can put the picture at the top among other things. Im not sure about them making it the default because a lot of people dont like timeline, but i myself like it.

Facebook timeline for me is good. Especially the cover photo thingy! It's like personalizing your own profile. You can even go back from the time from when you first started your account. If you kept your facebook updated this past few years its like having a scrapbook highlighting important events in your life.

I don't usually look at my own Facebook page, just my home page and notifications, so I generally don't see it too often lol, however I can relate as I do see it on some of my friends' profiles. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's grand. It's the same as when any other website makes changes. We complain, we get over it and wait for the next change. They are making it their standard layout soon, so we might as well get used to it now!
