If you really wouldn't care about what people say about you, there opinion you would not bring up this subject. So it seems to me you do care. My advice: ignore, be yourself and don't (ab)use god for who or what you are.

Actually I'm not a very confident person. some people said that I have many good sides of me such as helpful, smart and generous (of course I have some weaknesses). but what they said never been able to make myself becoming a confident person. maybe it related with my childhood. I was a shy girl. it's hard for me to have performance in front of people so I seldom joined competition though my teachers asked me to do so. and now, I'm not still confident person. I tend to be hesitate in doing anything and hard for me to make decision. I think it's because I am not too confident in doing this or that. though I always to do my best, but sometimes this shy characters is bothersome..
