its not good for him to be addicted to computer games how old is he

It depends on how people handle it. Playing games is very addicting and at the same time it is like an ego booster that if they are going to win then they feel that it is like their victory.

Most, if not all of the things available to us, especially technological equipments are there to make our life easier. The way we use, handle, and/or manage is our responsibility. Addiction to computer games at this age can still be avoided, although I must admit that it is really alarming to know that it could actually happen to a child as young as 3 years old. As adults, we have the responsibility to control usage time and usage purpose of such device, that way prohibiting further possibility to addiction. We must be responsible owners and users, and most importantly responsible adults. Let us not allow kids to be lazy and addicted to such things. Being a good example is also a good way to influence children. When they see you do other important stuff, aside from sitting all day long in your computer, they will not get too engrossed with computer as well. I hope you find a way to control your niece and discipline her on the usage of computer. Good luck and more power!

Wow, addicted to video/computer games at THREE?! That's somewhat sad! You need to get him outside to play or something! It makes me sad to think of kids staying inside and sitting in front of the computer instead of getting outside, using their imagination, and playing outside and getting exercise! Agh! Darn this technology age! . I am somewhat addicted to technology, though, so I shouldn't talk.

the first thing is that his only three so he must not into computer. If he does, elder people living in the house must not tolerate him. If the kid is now sicked with the computer, u better choose to do the right thing. i mean, get him away from it. or destroy the file of the game he is playing. Computer is helpful, though it has its disadvantage like u said others makes it lazy. For us adults, we know whats wrong from right. If we choose to get addicted or not, still its in our control. But for him 3 year old only, its the parents under supervision. U must not tolerate anything that could cause bad when its too much.

He's 3 years old man, he shouldn't have a computer at a so young age. There's an age for everything, you can get a computer when you're young, but that's way too early. But if he has to, at least teach him how to use it correctly, don't just let him play pointless games, but educational ones too. Uh, I learnt English by playing online games for example and using the same method to learn german, you know... Interacting with people from other countries help, and considering he's young, he learns faster too. But I'm not sure if letting a 3 years old baby play online games is a good idea, but it was just to show you there are many creative ways to let someone play with the computer in a 'good' way, of course when he gets older make sure he does other stuff with the computer, beside playing.
