Today encounter strange situation (never happen before)
Like usual I login into Mylot and response several discussions and one of them is violating guidelines. LIKE USUAL I rant (a little bit) user who open that discussion.
One hour later I got BR notification. First I thought it came from other discussions I reply to but when I see content of BR notification, I really surprise. That BR came from prohibited discussion that everyone know which gonna be deleted by admin.
I don't know what to say ......
My feeling mixed up. Yes I'm happy get BR but in same time I feel sad because I got it for nothing.
Is this ever happen to you guys ....?

Maybe, out of all of the responses that the topic received, yours was the only one that really had some useful information in it and the user really was thankful to you for pointing out the mistake that they had made. Maybe that was their way of thanking you and rather than making a comment, because they were sorry for the violation and not wanting to say anything about it, they felt that the only way was to award you the BR.
I was like you too and informed many users when they made a mistake. I have received best responses for informing of a violation. As you say, it is sad because they go when the discussion is deleted but it's the thought that counts, and maybe that user was really grateful to you. You did a good deed Olleenz

I didn't put Mylot guidelines for opener, other member already done it.
I try to re-write small part that I post in that discussion:
" ...... Any violation had cost. If you not believe me, try to break rule on any sites that you promoted in ....."
Is that useful information ....?
In my opinion that ranting post, not useful information
Maybe he try to apologize with give BR. But if this reason why he give me BR, it better to give it to first responder (I'm second or third responder at that time)

It would be useful information for a new user, someone who is just starting out with online earning sites and unaware that they have rules.
I saw what you typed, in your activity in your profile. Even though a post is deleted it still remains in your activity

The opener of discussion not even response to my rant post (few words will fine) but he give me BR.
Oh boy ..... at least he read my post.
He change his attitude or not, I don't know ... ..

Lol, no, that's never happened to me. But then again I tend to avoid discussions that I know are going to be deleted - there's not much of a point in responding at all, is there? But I guess it's nice of you to respond anyway, just to spread the wealth of knowledge to these newbies who don't know the rules and/or have the hang of things yet.

Maybe I gonna get it again ... lol
About 5% of my responses I give it to unpaid discussions (you know what I mean)
I just don't understand with those newbies. When they sign up with any sites, they supposed to read FAQ's, term and privacy first before joining.

I love to get BR but I donĀ“t think of gaining as in gaining a cent or so. I just think that someone thought that my answer was interesting or helpful. For me, mylot is not a site where I will earn money, but a place where I will socialize. A BR, whether it is deleted (the post) or not is an occation to be happy.

That is something quite irony that you get it and yet you don't get it. In our life, there are gain and lost, so don't get too upset just because of this small matter. If this one get you a BR, you probably will also get BR for other discussion which were not violate the term.

No, I have not experienced it yet. I know you just want to help the guy which most of us members here are, to let him/her know that she/he may have forgotten the guidelines for creating a discussion. So you must have known that your effort would be worthless because it would be deleted anyway. I feel sorry for you too my friend, but I know your intention.

To me, it never happened, at least up to now such a thing. Assuming that I almost never check the best response, because even if there were more answers that satisfy my request, of course, in doing so, I would do an injustice to other users who do not receive it (in fact the best response may be assigned only to one comment).
In your case probably has gone like this: you have given the best response to a user, to satisfy you to your question, but in some way this user infringed the guidelines of Mylot. Sometimes it can happen.
This however is just my opinion.

Hi Olleenz,
Yes it happened to me once. Well then there is nothing that we can do about it if it happens. Like what you felt, I am glad but not really LoL!

It's not happened to me personally, but I have seen it happen. In a way, you're just repeating yourself and shouldn't get best response. On the other hand, the best response should be the one that raises the most interesting points and is the nicest to read. If yours fits those criteria... then I don't see why you shouldn't get best response.
Just my opinion
