Hi and a happy day to all! It has been a busy week for me. The days are so busy that i ended up not visiting mylot for about 4 days. My hobby made me occupied for a bit, i am making bridal brooches and ladies headbands. I am thinking of introducing it to the market step by step. Putting a blog, selling it, showing it to people and later will become a good business. Do you think i can make it step by step? Did you tried using your hobby as a business? Need Advice.

Well, I can think of a few here in myLot besides myself that create things and then sell them at Craft Shows, etc. and enjoy doing it. It seems I am always creating something and then trying to sell it somewhere. Actually if your product looks nice this is actually something a lot of people would probably be interested in. Just need to consider do you have what it takes money wise to keep up with the supply and demand?

This is a good idea with the internet everything is possible.. good thing is that you have an unlimited prospects because of internet... but what makes it sometimes not good as a business is that the prohibitive cost of transferring your goods to your customers.

Hi Brainplusbeauty, that is a good idea. I do not have any inclination towards making things or having my own business. Wish you all the best. The best is still using the word of mouth. Setting up a blog, and then ask your happy customers to send the link to all their friends. I think with orders coming in, you definitely can make enough money from your business.

Hi, thank you for the well wishes. Yes, word of mouth really helps. i had one who really saw my works and say its very pretty. And she was starting to make it well known. Love it!
