Perhaps your system was corrupted. It maybe caused by some virus. Try your hard disk on the other computer running both 2 hard drive. Then check if it opens and back it up. I did it to mine last week and its working again.

try to run boot it on safe mode. TRy this steps: 1).When it says Verifyingg DMI Pool Data, repeatedly press F8 and select Enable VGA Mode and you are done!!! 2).When it says Verifying DMI Pool Data, repeatedly press F8 and select Debugging mode

If it's not even loading the OS, I would guess your computers BIOS is corrupted or out of date. The BIOS is the built in operating system that runs all the functions on your computer, and it would be what loads your Windows XP. If all your equipment is working, and it's not even getting to XP, I would try going to the companies website and downloading the reccomended BIOS for that model onto a flashdrive. Then you can change the way your computer boots by going to the menu right after it boots up, and change it so that it boots off of the flash drive. Usually it will auto-update your BIOS when you use a new one, but I'm not sure. I've installed new OS's before off of flash drives (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora), but I've never needed to install a BIOS... I know it can be done though.

This issue can be caused by any of the below reasons. 1. Corrupt boot files on the computer. 2. Settings for hard disk drive are not correct. 3. Floppy diskette or CD in computer causing issue. 4. Boot devices not set properly. 5. BIOS corrupt or misc or setting not set properly. 6. Connections loose or disconnected. 7. Bad Hard disk drive or other bad hardware.

But it says " Updating DMI Pool...........Success" success means no problem in updating DMI pool . Second thing you suggested entering to safe mode ,but my system restart even before any operating system message is displayed ,I even tried to press F8 to enter into startup menu of Windows XP but it was even not possible since system restart before OS is started ........ So where can be the problem is bothering me ? Hare Krishna Ganesh

Well it seems you have a big problem and this is 3 month old discussion probably you must have already sorted the issue. From the website of mercury download the latest bios, usually p4 motherboards will have an option in bios flash new bios with pendrive formatted in fat filesystem or if you have a floppy drive. I giving an answer after 3 months you have posted this issue, hope you have already sorted the issue ....
