Have You Ever Updated BIOS Of Your Computer ? What All Needs To Be Done ?

Dear Friends
Currently I m facing strange problem with my old computer system which is discussed in just my last discussion .
I doubt my system BIOS is corrupt and I want to update the same but I never come across updating BIOS before ...?
DO you have any idea have you ever did it ?
What is all that is required to update the bios .....?

maybe you need to take it to someone who know how to do it b coz sometimes the diffect will be on your pc or try to put a anti virus on it. you need tofix it asap or you will loose the opportunity to be connected here at my lot good luck

yes you may be right it can be act of some boot sector virus that's making the system to start again and again .I will ensure all measures before taking to bios update but truth is I have tried most options with few left but after those few I will be compelled to replace the bios ..........
