I'm going to delete it, I'm gonna do it.... Anyone going to stop me?

Okay, this is more like a satirical post, at least the title was. I have this one friend on Facebook who is ALWAYS complaining on her statuses, about everything dramatic she can. "All of my friends can bleep off because they're all back-stabbers" and so on and so forth. Now the other day she was saying things like I'm going to delete my Facebook tomorrow, so I don't have to talk to you - you know who you are and in about 2 hours had to have made 2-3 statuses about how she was going to delete her Facebook. Three days or so later it's still there. I know this is probably a cry for attention, but I just got annoyed. It got me thinking.. just DELETE it already! Quit talking about doing it and do it!. I removed her from my news feed so I no longer have to listen to her dramatic ranting and 'threatening' to delete her Facebook. How annoying. Do you ever see people like this on FB?

I see posts all the time about the different styles of facebooking. One of them is the "facebook deletion" one. There's a quote that goes around facebook that says something like "deleting your facebook is the new running away from home." It's annoying. I've not had to deal with that luckily, but I have had the "obsessive lkers" I HATE THAT. Sounds like yoru friend needs to be told to stop whining. I'd say something like "delete it already" on her wall.

I'd say "If you're not gonna delete your account, then I'll delete you from my list".

So, have you deleted her already?! After I saw Jimmy Kimmel promoting National Unfriend Day (NUD) last year, and having such a big production out of it, I've started deleting annoying friends on facebook already. I've got enough drama in my life already, I don't need theirs!

Take your own decision friend. Though I have face book account, i visit there rarely, have huge number of friends. I visit only when there is a new friend request, accept it.I don't have any more activity lol. Thanks for sharing Best of luck. Professor

If it happens repeatedly then it would be very annoying and I would remove him/her from my list. No use on having someone like that whom I don't really care if they deleted their accounts. Even he/she was a close friend, and he/she would say that "i'm gonna delete my FB account" I would just delete him/her as well, and just try to keep in touch through other means.

I hear a lot of people talking about leaving their social networking websites, but I think that the only reason that they're saying things like that is so that other people will say that they don't want them to leave, and then it will make them feel better about themselves. I don't think that I would ever really want to leave my social networking websites, because you would just miss out on far too much that happens if you were to do so. I would miss out on photos and updates from my family and friends, and would not get invited out as much as I do while I am able to use these websites.

I have seen it before and your right it is very annoying! I am pretty sure it is for attention. They want others to feel bad and to tell them not to go. So silly and immature! If your really going to just do it. Lol. I do not blame you for removing her, I would have too. Thank goodness I do not go on there much because I would get so annoyed!

They are obviously looking for attention. If you care enough about them, just give them thing that they need: an attention. But if you don't care, just ignore them at its finest. And yeah, I ever saw this kind of people on Facebook. Oh, and also on myLot. Both are annoying enough for me, so that I don't really give a **** (in other word: I bothered to care about it :p)

Oh yes, of course! :D She's updating her status like every 5 minutes! Lol. I unsubscribed her from the news feed and I feel better. :D And I also have ever had the kind of friend like yours and I deleted her/him. I've had enough with the crying for attention. Teehee...

I have seen people like this ranting etc on facebook. however they were not ranting about deleting their facebook account. In my opinion, she was just trying to get the attention of the so called "back-stabbers". Of course, it is quite naive and immature to do so. If she is really going to delete her facebook account then delete it already. After all Facebook is just a social networking site we use. We can live without it.

There are a lot of such kind of people on Facebook and a few in my friends list as well. They just want to be in the limelight so they just update status about each and everything they can.. i had a friend who was so much addicted to face book that he used to even update the status if he was thirsty or hungry. Finally i had to remove him from my news feed. but then this is what social networking is all about, just ignore such kind of people and enjoy the good company of other of FB !!

Oh my goodness, yes. So I've taken to doing what you've done removed them from my news feed, and I only resorted to this after I called them out on their attention seeking ways, 'cause clearly that's what it's all about, them wanting attention. BTW,love the headline for your post, lol.
