On my way home there is this traffic jam that made me stuck for hours.
So much traffic, (bumper to bumper) for whatever reason ...I've heard there's a rally ahead (I will check the news later)
Checking my gas, I can figure out that, I might run out of fuel before I could reach any gas station for refill.
So,I had to off the air-condition and lowered my window.
But this smoke and pollution made me cough and teary eyed.
I am blinking my eyes and covering my nose every now and then..
suddenly...someone extended a hand with a hanky..
no....a box of tissue from the other car besides me.
Ohh,the guy thought I am crying and said take it easy ma'm (yaayyy- ma'm)
Did a stranger offered unsolicited help and how'd you react?
Or did someone mistaken you for crying or thought you need some help and approaches you?
Have a great evening everyone
jaiho® - check your gas before leaving home or office guys :p

Hi Jai sis, indeed we should always check the gas before leaving our home. Very nice reminder. So, i guess that stranger must have brighten you up, although you are down with so much problem at that moment. I only experienced once where a young stranger offer his sit in the bus for me. Because he saw me wearing loose dress and look like i am pregnant.
He said pregnant lady shouldn't be standing in the crowded bus. I thanked him but not sure how to explained that the pregnant figure which they saw was actually just my puppy fat. I haven't slim down since i just out from school age. At least, it really makes me feels shy to wear that same dress to town again after that incident...![](/Content/images/emotes/sad.gif)

Hi Jai!
The incident proves that there are considerate people in this world and they would extend their helping hand on the slightest pretext. He would have been a noble soul that is why he offered you tissues. There was no way to know that you were crying or tears were there in your eyes due to smoke.
This kind of incident has not happened with me.

Hi jai
He showed you a good gesture. A real gentleman. I haven't experienced such thing. No one ever handed me a hanky. But there were some gentleman in the street that had helped me in the street before. When my umbrella got stuck and I was about to get in the bus. I couldn't because I can't close my umbrella. Someone took it and helped me so I can get inside the bus. Then they tried to fix it.
The vendor outside tried to asked me to just give the umbrella to him. But nope I didn't give it, I need it even if it's broken - otherwise I will be so wet.

That happens to me too, I cannot close my umbrella.
Umbrella these days are giving us trouble sometimes instead of helping us (hehehe)
Yah, the unsolicited help did help me to smile.
I am having headache due to the traffic and the smoke.
I was sneezing that I cover my mouth and nose and also wiping my eyes.
So, he thought I was crying (hehehe) so kind huh.

Wow what a jam, I'd probably be crying out of frustration myself. Now I remember back in high school the allergies for me were so bad that I'd sit in class looking as if I was openly crying, they were that bad. I didn't take allergy medicine as I didn't like and still don't like to take medicines. I was asked by a teacher once if I was okay, I remember that.
Luckily my allergies aren't as bad now as they were then, but the school buildings were old, built in the the early 60's.

Hi didi..
I never cry even when i play drama and have a situation, i have to bring out artificial tear or by sounds i can play the role. i dont why no tears come out easily from eyes. Perhaps my heart is made of stone.
Well, i know when pollution or dust attack on our eyes, obviously tears(water?lol) come out and there are chances that people may mistake like you have faced.
Have a nice time.

I am easily hurt, but tears don't show easily from me too.
The sentimental part of my life passed away- now I know how to hold my emotion, but it's not good too.
I can't cry these days...no matter how hurt I am.
No- your heart is not made of stone- but you made it become a stone.

I think you need to get prepared to face such unexpected events. Though I am not, we may really stuck at traffic-jams and feel so irritated. It is casual that where situations like this, people may offer such things and if we really feel in need of such one-time help and really required, there is no point in denying it. It is quite circumstantial and all are awere that everyone is got puzzled in such situations. Also, we need to be careful about the fuel sufficiency whenever we are in a trip. Sometime such kind of unexpected situations make us mad and be prepared with adequate fuel/gas and please check the gas level before start the journey. Hope you reached safely at home.
Thank-s

Dear Sis,
I visited manila and I hate to say that I hated it. It was a traumatic first experience ever. I got stress everyday because of pollution. Both sides of every small streets are banqueted by crooks and unscrupulous people. I have valuable things snatched within the areas of Quiapo, Divisoria and even in Cubao. I am so sorry Sis for telling all these but I just can't figure out how those unlucky people who do not have good and stable job live their lives there. I stayed there for 2 weeks when I attended some trade fair exhibits. Actually it was an extended stay due to Ingress and Egress prior and upon finishing the said exhibit.
And to response your personal discussion, I have never received any unsolicited help neither advice from strangers; Only from my friends who often say, I am a predictable person and they can easily read what I am going through. Maybe they are right because what they can see and hear in me is what they get.

hello bro,
I am sorry to hear those bad experiences you've dealt during your stays here.
I don't like those places that you've mentioned- those places are too crowded.
There is no parking space in Divisoria- I mean..no safe parking space (duh)
So, if I need to go to that place (sometimes I need to buy some stuff) I prefer to commute and ohh...the crowd made me dizzy :(
My place is far better than those places.
I can see you are a transparent person :)
What you see is what you get- that's great!
Keep it up ![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

I was at the Frankfurt Airport killing time to get into a flight to India. I wanted a tea and when I realised it cost 3 US dollars which means Rs. 150/- I hesitated. I went back where I was relaxing and suddenly an old lady comes up to me with a cup of tea - a total stranger! She obviously had seen me at the stall! I was embarrassed but took it all the same as I found her to be friendly. I was on an European holiday and had reached my last dollar!

That was very nice of them. Even though you weren't crying I'm sure that it helped with your water eyes and you could use it to keep the pollution out of your eyes and nose. Sorry to hear though that you were stuck in a traffic jam for hours. That would have been so frustrating. I guess it's a good thing to always keep something on hand that you can do when stuck in a traffic jam. Someone I'm sure has extended help to me when I was sad. But it wasn't in a situation like yours. That was unique and kind of them.
