Using Auto responder for my site

Auto responder is useful tools to manage my contact, blast my promo and reply to my data base contact promptly, efficiently and professionally. so i really need to have this tools to help my customer management smooth. I have heard of free auto responder and paid auto responder. Can anyone suggest me any free auto responder so i can learn how to use this tools. maybe i will buy better auto responder when to enhance my management system,but maybe for my blog i should try with free one first.. really hope anyone could share a good one with me..
