Grilled Cheese after swimming

Well it will be summer before you know it. When I was little we would go swimming at the pool in whatever neighborhood we lived in and after we would make a grilled cheese sandwich in the sandwich maker we had. I liked mine with pepperoni's on it, and would sometimes have two sandwiches, which equaled four parts. The machine would crease the sandwich for you so you broke it in half. The zang from the pepperoni was delicious with the cheese.
Sometimes we'd eat it before, but had to wait thirty minutes before going down to the pool to swim.
What is a childhood memory you're fond of?

I've never had those myself, but have heard people who picnic on the beach to have that happen with them. The nearest beach is atleast a four hour drive so won't be happening with me anytime soon.

The ice cream trucks. They would pull up and I'd get something different every time. Those were also at the beach. Swimming in the AM and ice cream truck in the PM. It just didn't get any better than that for me as a kid.

I loved grilled cheese sandwiches when I was a kid. I think that some of my fondest memories of childhood was being a part of my grandfather working on his cars. He made me a stool out of a steering wheel to sit on and I would get to help him get his tools. Another fond memory was when the kids next door came out to play and I would blow on over there for the rest of the day.

I also had some great summer memories. We would go to a resort and go swimming with relatives. Summer was one of those seasons of the year where me and my cousins would have fun and just act like kids. We'd play games in the pool and act like we own it. We would also sometimes join other kids to our games and bully them (but not too harshly) for nothing.

I don't have any idea about that but as what I could think it taste like a pizza especially if you have pepperonni on it. That is so delicious for sure.

I still have my sandwich maker like that. I just best remember visiting my mom's grandparents when I was a child. I do not have any really great memories from being a child. I did play a lot with the neighbor kids in our yard etc. Everyone in the neighborhood could play at our house, but often one neighbor or another would say that the other neighbor could not come to their house. I guess I was used to our house being the social center for the neighborhood for that reason.

my dad used to work from 6 am until 2 pm and as soon as he got home, we would head off to the beach. my mom would have a picnic supper all ready packed and when we got there, my dad would nap, my mom would read and i would swim (i am an only child) but we used to do that a lot every summer just because of my dads hours.

my childhood memory is going to the park swinging. I still today go to the park when i have a chance and swing. I remember little about my childhood. I still love to get in the swing as a adult.
