It's come to our attention that Chavit Singson has always had a way with his world. A few years ago, he was involved in a traffic dispute, resulting to the discovery of unregistered guns in his possession found inside his car. With quick thinking on his part, he became the lead whistle-blower of the Jueteng scandal that shook the Estrada administration, leading to the depose of then President, Joseph Estrada. In recent memory, he was also involved in beating up his wife as he found out she was having an affair. Then, there's that about his son, also a politician, being involved in a drug-related incident in Hongk-Kong.
Now, quite recently, a photo of him partying with six to seven Brazillian models in his private plane while drinking liquor is leaking throughout the internet. And he claims it was a photo-shoot for a foreign commercial. How he was believed by the media for his antics is way out of my mind.
The question is, is this our role model today to the youth? Is this how the public officials of our country to be seen by the rest of the world?
if that is to be so then why the heck are the congressman of this country castigating people left and right for saying they are corrupt and immoral? Why would they even go all the way to ban a foreign investor and even issue a law prohibiting writers in the film and television industry from depicting them as such? What is the world going to?

If he is a role model then all the youth will go to the trash. The youth should stay away from imitating this kind of man. Look at his son. What happened to him? His father could not even teach him to become good citizen. So the same as your question... "What is the world going to if a person like this man Chavit becomes the role model of the youth?" He has the money, he has the fame but certainly he does not have what we call "good breeding". I am not judging I am just stating a fact, and this fact, he himself is actually revealing through his action.

I guess it's money, plain and simple. Singson has amassed a huge amount of it through his various "businesses." And he might have used this to make people look the other way. I have never actually consider this person a role model for any kind of person - youth, the elderly, or whomever. It's a shame though that there are still some who adore these type of person, some even wanting to emulate him.
