I love reading historical romance novels. I've read the works of Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught and Jude Devereaux. Can you suggest more authors/books that can be classified as historical romance novels. They are about dashing nights, barons, dukes, earls and ladies in distress. :)

Hello! novels by Philippa Gregory are good. The Other Boleyn Girl is a very good read I could not put it down once I started. I also have some of her other books but haven't really started on them.. Lately I don't have much time for reading.

Another good one by Philippa Gregory is 'The White Queen'. Really enjoyed that and I am sure you do too if you like English history.
My absolute favourite is Ken Follett and 'The pillars of the earth'
Enjoy your reading

I like reading historical novels too try lisa kleypas, stephanie laurens, kat martin, amanda quick and a lot more. Generally that's what i do on my free time aside from chatting and shopping. It is like cinderella, beauty and the beast, snowhite in fairytales. Ladies wanted to be rescued or find that true love.

Finally! I found you on page 28 of reading. Finally someone with the same reading tastes as myself lol.
Jude Deveraux, I love her. My two favorite were 'Wishes' and 'A knight in shinning armor'
I also love Constance O'Day-Flannery. She has a lot of time-travel romance out there.
If you like these authors, you'll love Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. Her stories are so developed you can smell the sea, feel the wind on your face. You can feel the emotions churning through her characters.
I've found new authors over the years but those are some of my favorite.
