is white lie good or bad?

I think a lie is a lie, even giving compliments that are not true to me are lies I would rather not say anything than to tell a lie about anything, as I think all lies get found out in the end.

white lie are sometimes help to manage the situation. and the way i know white lies is just a temporary remedy for the situation, and looking for the right time to tell the truth, for example you don't want him to feel so worry that why you tell lies. like for example .. a child was told not to tell that my mother was not in our house, and our relatives go into our house and looking for my mother, then they saw this child maybe 7-8 yrs of age and m uncle ask if my mother is inside the room and the said cannot say verbally but by moving his head sidewards means she don't know but her eyes is staring at the door where my mom is, and my uncle knock on the door but my mother manage not to be seen at her room and my uncle go away.. which my mother doesn't want to talk to my uncle because of money matters. the purpose of white is to help ease the feeling but not totally give the solution, sometimes there is a right time to tell the truth

white lie is still a lie , and a lie is somewhat not accepted by others which means it is bad. On how we look on what is bad or good, good is being what accepted by the mores of other people while bad things does'nt.

lies arent good, but they arent bad either, depending how u look at them. but if someone lies just to make people think that way about them, then it is definately not right.

it is still a lie. nothing can change that.
