Watermelon and summer

I think I could live on watermelon, it is just so refreshing on a hot day, I love it especially now there is seedless watermelon , infact it has been awhile since I have even seen watermelon with seeds, but I do have a couple of friends who don't like it, that has always puzzled me as I just can't see anything to dislike about watermelon.

Watermelon is so plentiful during summer season. This is why summer is almost equal to watermelon. Indeed this is a very refreshing fruits and I just discovered that juicing it makes it more refreshing. Just add some ice cubes and drink and lo you have the most refreshing and nutritious juice ever.

I think watermelons now are available all year round. I just saw stalls selling these fruits beside roads in Bulacan (San Rafael, San Ildefonso and San Miguel). They are selling different varieties like regular, seedless, striped and the oval-shaped. Basically the striped ones are also referred as hybrid variety. The flesh of oval-shaped watermelon is yellow. You are right, this fruit is typically known during summer because you will feel refreshed after eating it. I love to chill them before eating. I also make coolers wth this fruit.

Yes, it's like they go together.. Summer is not complete without a cold watermelon. I just hate it sometimes when i accidentally chew the seeds..why does it have so many.

i love watermelon it always reminds me of when i go on holiday to Spain because water melons dont grow in my country so i tend to eat when i am abroad.

2 words: troublesome fresh I like it but hate the seeds, I can have 1 slice for 10 minutes because was too busy with the seeds split in my mouth.

oh, bright red flesh, i can not wait. hope the summer can come fast. i also love watermelon, very much. in summer, sometimes i eat it as lunch or supper.
