I had worked in Seagate for about 2 yeays, several days ago, I had an interview for the position of field quality engineer in WD, but unfortunately didn't pass as my working experience not fit for the position, what they need is more focus on the customers and cummunication with customer, but I mainly for the production process, the two are the leadership of the hard disc industry, say sonething about the two company, did you ever buy the hard disc drive? which brand do you prefer? which company is better in your eyes?

No i never work for seagate or WD before, I used both of their product but i cannot say which one is better because these two companies are probably the only names that i can find whenever i tried to buy hardisk. I like WD product more because it's less expensive compared to Seagate with relatively same spec. of hard drive. For quality, i think both are the same because i have broken hard drive from both company. However, i still have an old seagate hardisk with 600MB capacity that still working till this day... maybe that's +1 for seagate.
