my daughter is 6 years old and her first tooth came out three months ago, and then gradually the second on the top and then the two teeth down also fell off in the same month...thing is all her three teeth have grown well again (one upper tooth and two lower teeth) except the one which fell second (upper tooth)...it has been two months and there is no sign of any development or growth there...will it take this long when all the other teeth are growing properly or might it be in anyway related to her sucking her thumb (she sucks only during sleep, may be some 10-15 mins a day, thats all), have you experienced this with your kids...what should i do now?
Even today, i asked her to come to the dentist, but she is afraid and does not want to come and says, "it will grow, dont worry"

Personally I would think taking her into the Dentist and have her mouth and teeth looked at would be a Good thing as having something like this happen would be a little worry some and worth looking into. Hope that she did go, and find out it is just something minor as well.

You gotta bring her to the dentist. My daughter's problem is her tooth doesn't get wiggly. I don't know why. I wouldn't know that she needs to pull her tooth out until I see another tooth coming behind it. I had to bring her to the dentist to have her two lower teeth extracted coz she had teeth coming behind it and I always checked her teeth and I didn't noticed that it gets wiggly. And now, it happened again on her two upper teeth and another two in her lower teeth part.

yeah i took her to the dentist and she took an x-ray and said that there was the tooth inside, but would take time to come out and said we can be rest assured as there is no infection and that it will grow in a month's time, if not, to come back for a followup...thanks for the response and you take care of your daughter too

Yes, it will grown don't worry! In due time that missing tooth will come out for sure. Just don't get so bothered with it. The more you get bothered the more it will feel like it will not grow anymore. So just relax and stop thinking about your child's second tooth. It will come out for sure one day soon.
