That thought have passed my mind many times already. Being a person with interests in war and in military, and as a person who have been into military when I was in school, sometimes I imagine myself deployed in a war zone like that. And with my keen interest in history, I am so familiar, not with the scenes the American soldiers have fought in that place, but with the scenes Soviet soldiers perished in there. I can recall the horrors they have experienced in there. They have fought a war against the people who believe they were right and they were fighting for their religion as Mujahideens. It was really bad. If I were them, I would escape our Soviet camps, cross the border to some friendly country, to find a new life, than to waste my life fighting a war that has lesser moral ground than what our enemies' are fighting for.
