i am trying to start up a novel and it seems i'm having difficulty. after i write afew pages of it, i'll just read it all over again and then start to edit. when something is wrong, everything seems wrong and i keep rewriting it again and again. i feel that i have some nice characters, a storyline, but i just cant seem to complete it because i keep editing it and then rewriting it over and over. any tips anyone? thanks for your help, i appreciate it :)

Perhaps you're being too critical of yourself. I suggest you finish your novel first and then edit it. Just write the whole novel. It doesn't matter where it goes. Get it finished first and then edit.

Speaking of writing novels, I should first know the genre you're writing your own, what it is about. Start by saying that I am not a writer and I do not ever become one. However if I give you my personal opinion, I believe that if you decided to write something, it means that you do not lack imagination. If you write a novel that does not treat episodes or characters really lived or happened, I think you should work a lot on your imagination and creativity

I think you should try to work on finishing the novel then you can proofread and edit it later on. Otherwise, you will end up wasting alot of time by editing every page that you make.
