my mom doesn't want to measure her blood everyday it's old people thing (you know). She takes pill everyday and insulin shoot once a month. so far she doing good. The thing is her blood sugar is easily increase when she gets stress out over simple thing.

many diabetic people have tried this, if your mom will try it help her by tracking her sugar level everyday and that would make you know if it helps in your mom's case or not. Medicines, in any form, don't always suit from one person to the other unless they have enough resemblance in diagnosis.

Personally I have never heard of this completely making someone not have Diabetes and meaning they would not have to watch everything else they eat, etc. It might be something good to use along with other medications unless you are strictly sticking to a diet that works for you, but this is not a substitute by no means either.

I was just curious about this question as my 13 year old daughter is pre diabetic! Always looking for ways to help slow down or prevent diabetis. So far we are able to control her sugar levels strickly with diet and avoiding any sort of sugar. Glad you posted and I read. I defanatley will not do this.
