Whenever you called those government department number, or those giant companies for customer services, you probably would face similar scenario, going through many level of transfer, and options over the phone to pick what type of services you need, and then there is another automated voice to tell you, that "our service representatives are busy at the moment, please hold on the phone for the next available representative etc...." This process usually take around 5 minutes to 10 minutes, plus the waiting time probably up to 30 minutes or more. Don't you hate it? I do honestly. I heard a couple of people recommend me to use one of those apps to avoid such scenario, such as lucyphone.com. or fastcustomer.com to ring us when an available customer representative is up for your service. I haven't tested such apps on my cell yet, but I hope some people might find these 2 apps useful.

I don't wait for any one in my cell phone. I have second plans in my cell phone. So I just used to call my friends as well as family members back when they are busy at the moment. Pay per second really helps me to save me a lot. Disconnection the call when the hearer is away from me helps me to maintain by balance.

Hi King, indeed waiting for a few minutes on the phone is very frustrating. That's why, i always prefer to call the direct line, if there is any. Because passing through customer service section is really very frustrating. But what to do, most big companies including government departments, all must pass through operator, to be able to connect to the respective departments. Are those two apps are available to worldwide or only for US members? Care to share more info here?

I sometimes encounted this kind of scenario,in which case i hated my time was wasted and i would hang off or find other approaches to complain it to the company. In my opinion it's wrong for them to wast others' time. They make themselves convenient by doing so but waste its client's time.

We too have the same problem in India and it is highly irritating by the time we speak to the person we need to. At times the waiting is so long we tend to put off both physically and mentally. Sometimes we get connected to the person who cannot really provide us the information we need. Happy mylotting.
