Hi everyone. I am a first time mom, i gave birth 4 months ago and I am back to work in the office. When I was still on maternity leave, i was exclusively breastfeeding my baby. but before i came back to work, i tried introducing my baby to formula, i give him around 4 oz. a day so he'll get used to the taste and he'll get used to feeding bottles. and I was successful with that. he doesn't have nipple confusion, he likes feeding on me, but he can also be fed with formula milk. however, i was so worried that my milk supply would dry up since i don't breastfeed him as much as i did when i was on leave. so, what i did was i brought breastpump at the office and i would pump three times daily. but sadly, i would not bring my expressed milk at home since i thought it is not safe for my baby to drink it anymore. even if it hurts me to dispose my precious milk, i had no choice. when i come home from the office, i would breastfeed my baby to make sure that i maintain my milk supply. however, i noticed lately that my milk supply dropped, it wasn't as many as before. my officemate told me how to go about keeping my expressed milk safe and fresh so i can bring it home for my baby. i was so happy that i can finally bring it home. but then, since it's not as many as before, i got alarmed already so now i keep looking for ways on how to increase my milk supply. i was already taking nu-moms prescribed by my OB. but i saw from Healthy Option store this organic herbal tea called Mother's Milk and i have also been drinking it for a few days now, hoping and praying it works fast before my milk supply dries up. sorry for the long post, i am just so frustrated right now because i want to keep breastfeeding my baby. hope you guys have suggestions. thanks in advance. :-)
