While walking down one of the famous streets here in our city which is closed to traffic for a week because of our Flower Festival, we saw a lot of stalls selling food, bags, clothes, etc. One of the stalls we visited offered different kinds of food like banana chips, sweet potato chips, coconut pie, fish crackers, etc. What caught my attention? Banana Chips! I bought several packs which I intend to share. I like how it tastes! Not all banana chips that I eat tastes like this one! Want some?

It sounds like a fun festival. Banana chips are good. I haven't had any in a while, though. Since moving back to this region, I've been trying to buy mostly local foods. So, stuff like banana chips are pretty rare in our kitchen.

I also love banana chips. If they used the right banana, it will have the natural sweetness and I love that kind of banana chips. I don't remember the banana type but I think my mom does remember it. Some seller also have their own secret ingredient to make it taste even better.

Hi dolce_vita78, I love them too so please share! ;) I haven't been able to get them here until recently when I picked them up in the supermarket that I normally shop in. I like to eat them when I want a sweet, healthy snack. IrishGal77 :)

I have presently with me a pack of bana chips given to me by a friend.I still haven`t opened it as i have other things to eat.In my city,Mumbai, we get bana chips of different flavours like pepper, tomato, onion, garlic etc besides the ordinary ones. I prefer potato chips, who doesn`t, rather than banana chips.

hi dolce_vita that sounds lovely with the Flower Festival. Here the first flowers of the year are starting to bloom, my beloved snowdrops. Saw lots of them today on my way to the Doctor. Coconut pie sounds better than banana chips, I would also love to try sweet potato chips or vegetable chips if they are available. Love them. So I hope you enjoy the banana chips.

I love banana chips too. Here in Malaysia we have them plain(original), sweet or salted. I prefer the plain variety but the other two types are as good. Banana chip is a popular snack here because we have plenty of banana tress. It is nutritious and the selling price is not expensive.

Yes please It's been such a long time that I ate banana chips, I don't even remember when. I lived close to a market some years ago, and bought it a lot... Now next time I see a stand that sells banana chips I have to get some, I think!
