Given the choice, what gender would you have chosen?

Hey everyone. Now, I know you're still dazed by the title, but it's not really as crazy as it sounds... Usually, I prefer to post stuff that might be useful to people, rather than idle chitchat, but not this time. This time I guess you could say it's more of a 'research' question. I think this is a pretty intriguing topic,and would like to know what the masses think. Also, this way, I can get the opinions of both men and women. Hence this discussion. So here's the deal: If, at birth, you had an option, to be male or female, what do you think you would have done?? Please be completely frank and share your honest opinion. I say this for a reason. For example, don't say that you'd choose male, just because you ARE a male. That would be the easiest and most common tendency. Instead, I'd like for you to really consider both options, and then decide. Thanks for reading !!
